With 36 grammy nominations and 18 grammy awards plus two emmys, and more lifetime achievement awards than anyone can count on one hand, the man first recorded in 1949 during the Truman Administration, had his first #1 single in 1951 under Eisenhowr, and his last album went number one in 2011 during the Obama administration.

I think the man deserves a thread.
