I hereby deem Joe Biden totally lucid and competent, and the Orange Cyst senile. I have made my ruling.

Can't you see Putin and Xi looking over their nukes and telling each other that they will never again have an opportunity like this?

No. Biden has gotten NATO back on its game, unlike the previous administration, and has actually provided leadership, as opposed to the chaotic romperroom/amateur hour.

Because Steve Bannon, Ivanka, Stephen Miller and money-grubbing Jared Kushner were real pros!

Trump has a considerable following. It's a least 40% or more of the voters, and they are very passionate in their support.

Nixon was toast after the Watergate scandal. He was barred from running again anyway by the 22nd Amendment.

I would be careful about throwing stones, when you are riding the Biden horse, such as it is. The old Biden nag has more problems than Trump.

The first sentence of the Hur's Executive Summary is:

"We conclude that no criminal charges are warranted in this matter."

It further says, that Biden "wilfully retained disclosed and disclosed classified information". Superficially, this seems damning.

So why no charges? Because - as the body of the report explains - it cannot be proved that he did so with knowledge and intent of wrongdoing.

Why? More "trouble" than a guy with 91 felony counts against him?

    That's facially absurd.

Agreed. When he said "Nikki Haley...Nikki Haley....Nikki Haley....You've heard of Nikki Haley turning down security on January 6th?" I knew he'd lost it.

It will age well except among fascist university history professors who support totalitarianism. Many of them are shouting, “From the river to the sea!”

He'll be convicted. You don't sound like you've been on an actual college campus. You treat people like caricatures.

Like the guy in the center of your avatar with the zombie eyes? I can never understand why progressives leave a tell about their intentions for the rest of us with their avatars with unpleasant images on their symbols.

Here’s a tip. If you want to impose totalitarian socialism, make it look pleasant.

No it shows that he did so with knowledge and intent but that does not even matter under the espionage act, there is also GROSS NEGLIGENCE when there is no intent. Persons who are granted security clearance to handle such information are fully informed that THEY are responsible for it and if it "accidentally" gets mishandled that is STILL a felony.

Why no charges..........because he is an old and feeble man whose memory is being lost an a prosecutor would not bring such a case because a jury would not convict and send them to jail.

Mentally INCAPABLE, that is a judgement we all make as can certain federal officials under the 25th Amendment.

The person I posted to claimed Biden was RULED mentally incompetent by Hur, but Hur can't make that specific determination as only a psych doctor can do such. So THAT was the context of "RULED"

If Hur had found evidence supporting charges but, despite this, declined to prosecute, he would have said so.

He is not bringing charges because he does not have sufficient evidence, period.

It is disingenuous - at the very least - to say (as he does) that there is insufficient evidence to convict, and then say that a jury would be reluctant to convict an old man. Given that the evidence is (as he says) sufficient, it's to be hoped that they would not convict him, or anyone else.

The purpose here is to obfuscate the plain truth - lack of sufficient evidence - by implying that it is juror sympathy, not a lack of evidence that precludes charges.

Again, the bottom line is the first line: "We conclude that no criminal charges are warranted in this matter".

It's not a dodge; you noted Trump's obvious dementia, and I agreed with you.

I see I have a typo in my post.

"Given that the evidence is (as he says) sufficient" - should read "insufficient".
