That Russia helped Trump is not debatable. I agree.

But it is also not debatable that initially they were helping Hillary also. They only fully focused on Trump once they knew backing him would cause more division than helping Hillary. And it worked. Thanks to the Steele Dossier and Hillary Clinton. That fact is indisputable. No one can deny that if it wasn't for that Dossier the 2nd request for a warrant would not have been given since they had nothing new to go on to keep up the original investigation, which wasn't even into Trump originally. But they used the Steele Dossier to expand their investigation and get additional warrants. Never telling the FISA judges how that Dossier originated. Remember, that is one of the things which the FISA judges were pissed about. Along with the email that whats his face altered.

Sincere thanks for the post. For the last few days I've been discussing the exact point Boot makes with a few members of The Following who are in complete denial about the findings of the SIC and Mueller. As they are about so many things. Most strikingly, though Durham's probe was designed to obfuscate what Trump did, these folks aren't finding it necessary to use it. They are quite capable of clinging to a right wing media generated alternate reality without Durham's help.

This is not surprising. After all, consider the level of mental gymnastics required to completely dismiss two phones calls Trump was on that were recorded. The extortion call to Zelensky and the call to Raffensberger when he tries to subvert our democracy by stealing the election. Forgetting everything else, and there's a lot, those two criminal, incredibly damning calls would be a death sentence to the political career of any other politician. No one else could have survived just one. For The Following it's as though they never happened. Lost in the haze of sexual assaults, fraud, lies, a coup, incompetence, boorishness, abject failure, illegal acts, traitorous behavior, and a barrage of attacks on our founding institutions and accepted norms.

 

Yet Biden did worse on National TV. Crickets.

The left will cling to the debunked dossier with their life. To accept reality would be to admit they were wrong and face it, the left never thinks they are wrong.
