Color me 0% surprised. One of the biggest whoppers Trump supporters have said, 100% seriously, is that Trump loves this country and the military. There aren't enough laugh emojis in the entire world to express the profound joke those statements are. Trump doesn't love this country or the military. He loves himself and everything else is a means to an end, which for him is attention. So if it isn't about him, he doesn't give a ****. Honoring soldiers is very much about the soldiers and not Trump so naturally he has no interest whatsoever in them.

You're insane if you believe what you just said. Under Obama, we were literally shutting down Guard/Reserve units and lacking necessary training supplies. Under Trump, the military is growing and we are actually getting resources that we haven't had before.

Even in his prenup with Marla Maples it was stipulated that if their child ever volunteered to serve in the military or the Peace Corps, she would be cut off. Apparently Don Jr. got the same ultimatum when he expressed a desire to enlist. Big bucks won out.

 

Military funds come from the federal budget. Congress is in charge of the federal budget, which has the power to collect taxes, borrow money and approve spending. One of the things the govt spends money on is....the military. As in, appropriating x amount to the military. How do you not know this?

The house only writes the original bill. It is approved by the president and the senate. However, the house does not write the bill from scratch. They get inputs from the various agencies including the department of defense.

You are claiming that only the house has responsibility for the budget. If that were true, then Trump would have no responsibility for the deficit.

His shady dealings on the value of his Atlantic City Casinos led to the collapse of that economy and hurt many local residents (American Citizens) and sub-contractors.

His shady dealings on his University led to his hurting a number of young American students - so much so that he was forced to make a large cash settlement.
