Just The News reporter John Solomon gives a good report here. He records the comments of our former President on a whole variety of issues. The leading comments here are so right on. Trump will be a great ally for the conservative movement in fully engaging our domestic enemies in an all out response fighting the culture war.

 

Trump is clearly siding with the working and middle class/small business and domestic theists in the culture war over our kids and their future against the woke corporate elites and secular progressive urban left.

There is nobody on the left that wants to discuss the issues. They want to shove "their opinions of the issues" down the people's throats until they choke. They want to enrage the people to believe in their issues and only their issues. That is how they maintain their power over the people and hold control over the people.

They want to say, "white man bad" and "Christian bad" and "police bad" and "conservatives bad" and more and more. They probably should start with a long look in the mirror if they are looking for the bad.

Newsflash: Accepting LGBQT as normal people does not hurt anyone. In contrast, the "solution" of Trump and his fans on this issue is to pretend that LGBQT does not exist, so they don't disturb the straight, conservative bubble they live in, in which everyone not conforming to the norm is deemed "un-normal", like it was in the good old 50s.

So, in RW world, LGBTQ kids better go back to hiding, as they used to, leading to 4-times higher suicide rates of LGBTQ teens compared to other groups. But, that's okay, as long as the Trumpers don't have to think about them.

What exactly is "racially charged values?" Or "sexually charged values?" If you have Sarah Palin, in her official position to teach "sex education, the use of condomns, and abstinence," is that sexually charged values as Trump argued for?

 

We have had threads about whether or not being gay is learned or genetic, discussions on Florida's "Don't Say Gay" bill, and a whole host of other threads in this subforum and others like political opinions and latest news subforums. These issues have been discussed, rehashed, etc till the cows have come home, kicked up their feet, and are playing Texas Hold'em for three weeks, type of things. So why another thread on this? Yes, DJT has made his statement. He is being overtly general about it without going into any specifics.

 

I cannot stand Donald Trump and obviously Biden would not be President if some conservatives had not said no to Trump, so....

And I cannot stand the entirety of the government of the United States. They are power hungry monsters that care nothing about the people.

 

Great reply. John Solomon is an exceptional news reporter. Just the News is a news source. Reporting on what a former President said on current issues is news. It takes a great degree of censorship, content control, and deliberate misrepresentation of the facts to deny this.

The fact remains that religious conservatives who often share economic and security concerns with conservatives primarily motivated by those issues are a vital part of the GOP/conservative triad just as economic and national defense conservatives are. The GOP transition from establishment to populist and from wall st to main st as led by Trump and Palin before him was led to a significant extent by religious conservatives. We will have to get along as the GOP can not win without both of our viewpoints among its base.

 

Trump and we his supporters are not the government. We are the loyal opposition. We are committed to the idea of being permitted to criticize the government and doing what we are expected to do as a fundamental duty as citizens.
