What he's saying: Trump repeatedly criticized Netanyahu during two interviews for my book, “Trump’s Peace: The Abraham Accords and the Reshaping of the Middle East." The final straw for Trump was when Netanyahu congratulated President-elect Biden for his election victory while Trump was still disputing the result.

Remember Biden or Harris hardly campaigned at all and half the time Biden couldn't keep his thoughts right when he did speak.

These are just straight-up facts. I've honestly lost hope in Democrats learning from their mistakes, and refocusing their attacks on Trump's weakest policy issues. There are so many vulnerable policy topics for the former President, but Democrats have literally closed those openings and Trump increasingly increases his political power every moment the Democrats focus on petty issues instead of policies that Americans care about. If I were a GOP candidate, I would want Democrats to keep talking as loud as they can to everyone they can reach. I can't see any downsides for the Republican Party.

 

Its nice to be got once in awhile .. much appreciated .. nail on head. Blue is a disaster a directionless ship for the most part .. and when they do chart a path it is a dumb one. All red has to do is sit back and let Biden's foot in mouth disease - and bad policy do the talking.

NP. It's not even about issues anymore. The Democrats are just F-ing insane, and getting dumber by the day. I constantly compare them to the Neocons and war-hawks of the Bush era cause that's the only group in my lifetime that shares a similar unwillingness to learn from mistakes and change course. No. They just throw out divisive and reckless talking points, because they think it'll be effective against Trump, and as a corollary, the GOP. I've haven't seen Trump with this kind of lead since early 2016 polling. It's amazing to me from a political standpoint.

Also, I'm an abortion advocate to the extent that it's not long-term abortions, except when the life of the mother is at risk. Polls indicate that the abortion issue has mainly stimulated the anti-abortion GOP, and most people really only care about the economy and Covid-19 policy. The whole Vax debate pertaining to the mantra of 'my body my choice' has essentially neutralized the main pro-abortion argument. Clearly, leftists have set themselves up for failure in this debate. The Democrats are going to get so desperate at a certain point that I'm worried they might just instigate a war with Russia or China.

Of course there are many downsides to the Republican Party, but what choice do I have anymore? The F-ing President is taking foreign bribes through his son, and is clearly suffering from an age-related cognitive decline brought on by his favorite son dying. His own staff cannot trust him to talk to the press. I'd like DeSantis as a candidate, but Democrats seem intent on helping Trump win the nomination. How can an alternate win the primary when Trump is polling nationally at 48-50% against Biden and Kamala? Democrats are just so frustrating that I had to leave the party.

 

All candidates "buy" votes, Trump included. You can't celebrate the high number of votes Trump received while dismissing the even higher number of votes Biden received. The simple fact is that overall turnout was significantly higher than it had been for a long time.

I suspect that was down to the massively increased partisan division that grew up through Trumps term of office, something he holds a lot of the responsibility for (though, to be fair, not all). That created a greater impression among the voting public that you had to be either for (or against) one side or another and thus pushing more people to vote for one or the other based on the rhetoric and propaganda rather than any rational consideration or facts.

 

Yep, they act as if cutting taxes is not vote buying. It's the most blatant form of vote buying one can think of.

In any case, it is no surprise that the Israeli PM would suck up to ANY newly-elected US president. After all, they need to keep the money US spigot flowing to keep Israel great. What would they do if they ran out of the $5,000 US money that every Israeli citizen receives per year.
