    I'm 1/64. I do not qualify for any special benefits. Even if Warrans story were true she is at best 1/128th. If you knew the first thing you would know that those numbers matter to the tribes.

    She got benefits she did not qualify for.

    Actually her claim is that she is 1/32. Race is about self-identification and simply not having all the proof to join a tribe doesn't mean you can't self-identify based on some ancestors in your past. And even if she bent the truth, a lot of people bend the truth on college applications and early job applications, and I never liked those racial criteria anyway, the more white people who can get around them the better. Trump has done worse when he was younger.

    Did she take back her past claims or did she add to her past claims? I fail to understand why you conservatives are so upset that she might have lied on reverse discrimination college requirements which I thought you opposed. My Aunt passed herself off as hispanic because she had a darker completion and grew up in a hispanic area. But she wouldn't have been able to get into the college she did if she was white. College and employment competition is fierce and kids will do dishonest things.

    I'll tell you why "us conservatives" are upset. You progressive liberals put "extreme importance" on "identity politics". Identity politics are your only ace in the hole as far as elections go. (That is until you successfully overturn elections). Because you put such importance on them.....don't you think it would be wise to at least be truthful about ones identity?....instead of capitalizing on a false identity?
