Beyond that Christians are not requires to actually read the entire Bible to get their 'Christian Cards'. :)

The hypocrisy of choosing Easter week for his "I'm like Jesus" message.

Hypocrisy ? Is trump not the anointed one of God .. being made a human sacrifice. Where is the hypocrisy in that ? Hail to the King ! .. the patriot must sing .. bow head low ... lower .. and don't blow it .. you know it.

Now speaking of Jesus .. we need him now more than ever .. to do an old Lazarus on Genocide Joe .. resurrect the dead :) Har Har

The saving grace is all of Trump's delusional mental illness including his Messianic Megalomania with feelings of personal omnipotence and grandeur will be included in his presidential legacy by historians.

'David Axelrod says that, even as a secular Jew, he’s offended:

“This is a guy who has violated 11 of the Ten Commandments.”

    'Donald Trump, Blasphemous Bible Thumper'

"On this holy weekend, one man is taking the Resurrection personally.

"Donald Trump is presenting himself as the Man on the Cross, tortured for our sins. “I consider it a great badge of courage,” he tells crowds. “I am being indicted for you.” Instead of Christ-like redemption, he promises Lucifer-like retribution if resurrected."

I'm not sure how to read this. Are you saying that Trump was just joking?

Not at all -- Trump is quite serious I would think .. the suffering servant motif ... something like that -- persecuted like Jesus was persecuted - an anointed one of God .. just like Jesus.

Hearken unto scripture -- Romans 13
Trump was established as an authority by God ... the Holy book say .. who are you to gainsay God ?

Think David should be more concerned about the Blasphemous Bible Thumper Bibi --- committing atrocities the likes of which the brown shirts would be proud .. calling forth the Amalek .. Ethnic Cleansing of the land from the River to the Sea ..

Now there is something one needs address and worry about . rather than the ravings of an ex reality TV star having delusions of grandeur.

He has done it several times.

It was the whole point of this particular rant.

‘Stop trying to pretend you missed the point.

The guy who actually wrote “The Art of the Deal” also wrote “Everything Trump Touches, Dies”

Hence my suggestion that Trump credit Jesus for the next edition.

‘Sorry, but your attempt to justify Trump’s craven exploitation of the evangelical crowd falls flat on its face.

There is no logical basis for your assertion that criticizing Trump’s antics amounts to an equivalent to not being able to mention Christ at all.

This is dishonest and self serving. An attempt to avoid discussing what Trump actually said.

For instance, what property of yours are “they” trying to take from you? He’s clearly whining about his court losses, and tryng to project his victimhood onto you and the Trump court.

And, of course, the reference that Trump cited begins this way.

“Awake, ye saints; to praise your King,
    Your sweetest passions raise,
Your pious pleasure, while you sing,
    Increasing with the praise.‘

He wasn’t taking to you about Christ with that.

Jesus was persecuted by the government because he was a threat to the government's power to control the people.

Trump poses the same threat to the Federal government. He's the biggest threat to the government's power in modern history.

There is actually some truth to likening ones trials to that of Jesus Christ. Otherwise, how can one relate to him, or he to us.

Is the quest for truth and justice a cult, a vain and imaginary labor?
