Actually investing in Trump is not necessarily a bad idea. You just need to know when to get out. His first series of cards went up quite a bit to about $800 or $900 a card. Apparently the value on the series one cards took about a 50% drop today because of this release but if you bought one you could have had a really good return. Same with his DWAC SPAC. If you invested early and sold early you could have made a lot of money. The problem is for the people that have a lot of trust in him and are in for the long haul. Ultimately they lose a lot of money.

Do you mean the fact that there is a second series of cards or that the images are gay? I have always found it strange why Trump fans always want to see pictures of Trump with a fit, lean muscular body rather than a more realistic image of him. Are they ashamed of his actual physique or is that just how they picture him in their mind? What is even stranger is that Trump is OK with these representations.

I had never heard of series 1 or 2 except on this forum.

I would not spend a penny on them. As much as I'm always accused of being a die-hard Trumper... I've never donated a penny to him either

I have donated money to the Trump campaign but I usually donate to a political party regardless. The cards are in high demand. If you check out reddit you can see many people were extremely disappointed at how quickly they sold out and how they were unable to get one.

Maybe you have to think, if you consider yourself a die-hard Trumper, what about those that show up at all his rallies, buy all of his merch, send him donations for whatever cause he has at the moment, spend every dollar they have buying shares of DWAC even though week after week it keeps dropping because they believe in him so much. You have to wonder if you consider yourself die hard, what are they?

I don't necessarily consider myself that die hard of a supporter but I am told I am around here because I don't express sufficient hate for the man.

According to many around here you either hate him or love him. I have never donated a single penny to a politician and I never will.

They're doing a hell of a lot better than I am and they can do without my little pennies

Did you consider buying any for their collectible value?

I don't hate Trump but then I do not hate or love any politician. To be honest I can't imagine any politician worth those types of emotions. I vote for people that I think can do the best job and benefit my family and myself the most. I voted for Trump even though he was not my first choice but I liked many of his campaign promises. He failed me on all of them so I would not vote for him again but I do not hate him.

I did consider buying a series one Trump trading card if for nothing else than the novelty of having one. I would not treat it as an investment but as an interesting keepsake. I did not even know series two was released today until after seeing the complaints that it had sold out.

I was genuinely disgusted and concerned by the level of worship his magapatriots gave him when he was viable but now that it’s being used to splinter the cons I am enjoying it.

Unfortunately the damage he did to our country and our institution will be felt for generations

    Stupid stupid stupid.

And to be fair, these would be stupid no matter who was on the card. And the people who buy them would be stupid no matter who was on it too.

Does anyone actually think the guy who is THAT insecure so that he has to create those cards to make him feel better about himself is fit to lead the country? Let alone that he has the skills to MAGA? I am a professor, if I had a set of cards depicting myself like this, my students would laugh me out of the classroom.

DeSantis must be secretly laughing. He is also secretly laughing at the rubes who buy these cards, but at the same time he knows that he needs their votes, so he has to cater to them.

I can't even imagine how pathetic one's life has to be to buy such an item.
