Yes it's just humming along at Trump Election Central. He changes campaign managers more often than wives. This guy thinks he can make America great, defeat ISIS and generally save the world? He can't run a simple convention or make a campaign work. If he wants to see what change would keep his poll numbers from continuing to tank he should look in the mirror.

I really hope that Katrina Pierson stays on. I would really miss her creative statements such as Obama started the Afghanistan War and reporters are 'literally' beating Trump supporters.

And of course, surely this has nothing at all to do with Paul Manafort and his questionable Ukrainian dealings.... secret money... 12 Million.... lol......

And of course we know if Hillary's campaign manager was caught up in some kind of scandal he wouldn't be replaced, he would get a raise and a promotion, corrupt.

And please notice that this article was slipped in under the wire, in the middle of the night EST. Interesting, eh?

Well, seeing that Hillary has never had to fire a campaign manager, because hers is functioning so well, I guess we will never know. But I enjoyed reading your frustration. Better luck to you in the future!!

The smart guy at electoral-vote.com has already done a very good write-up about this and once again uses logic to explain why every bit of this is bad for the Trump campaign:

    http://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2016/Pres/Maps/Aug17.html#item-1

So, the webmaster has made a a number of very good points. This is indeed the first time in our electoral history where a campaign has switched campaign managers twice. And BTW, this is one of the sure-fire signs that the wheels are falling off the campaign, and quickly at that.We saw similar catastrophes with the McGovern 1972 campaign.

As far as Manafort is concerned, because the relevations of secret cash payments to him from a foreign power are in play, most notably, pro-Russian forces within the Ukraine, and Donald Trump has been praising Putin and Russia as if they have a bromance, the connection between the two will be made, whether it is fair or not. And in that respect, Trump is screwed, too. If Trump is such a smart person, how could he not know that Manafort was doing this? Trump is supposed to run a tight business ship, but he doesn't even know that his campaign manager has been doing (likely) illegal things? If he did, then that is criminal behavior on his part. If he didn't, then it makes him look ignorant. Either way, with this decision, Trump loses. It's simple campaign strategema. If you have to switch your team not just once, but twice, then you are losing.

And as far as KellyAnne Conway is concerned, I have never in my life heard of a nominee who selected his internal pollster to be his campaign manager. Romney also listened to his crap internal polls, most all of which were wrong, and what did it bring him??

And I too hope that Katrina Pierson stays on. I have never seen a more uncouth, uneducated campaign SPOX (also with a very questionable background, to put it mildly) as Ms. Pierson. So, yeah, she should stay on. She can keep recreating history and sounding like she just ate acid drops.

Yepp, the Trump campaign is falling apart. Just wait until Robby Mook at team Clinton sinks his fangs into this one.... and he will be merciless. Good for him.

Typical democrat you are! So if Trump thinks things are not going the way he wants , he makes changes to make things more efficient, that's the business man in him. When Hillary sees Obama's failed polices are not working she doubles down on them. Same ol Same ol Washington insider.

Since he put the head of Breitbart in charge of messanging, your wish will probably come true.

Brietbart does little more than manufacture red meat outrage to feed to their angry white man audience.

How is naming the publisher of a far right wing blog, who has no campaign experience at all, going to make things "more effecient" 83 days before an election?

I thought of the hapless McGovern campaign as well.

I watched Trump's speech, and noted how he gamed the TV networks by delaying everything to build interest.

But Trump's speech could have been given by George Wallace in 1968 or Spiro Agnew, in 1970.

Evidently, they really do believe that Americans are sitting in front of their televisions cowering in fear that they will be destroyed by the Black/muslim/mexican hoard.

You're heard the phrase "re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic as she sinks?"

This is more like "Throwing the life-jackets overboard and punching holes in the remaining lifeboats."

Well we know that from her Chairman Podesta.....he and his brother are taking money from the Russians. Also helping Putin and his boys get around BO peeps sanctions. Only received a day of coverage and the MS media buried it over with Trump news.

I have mentioned to some Repubs how that should be brought back around and Hillary should have to answer for her keeping Podesta on knowing he is taking money from the Russians.

Trump's trying to buy himself cover as more stuff about Manafort working for the Rooskies comes out.

Plus, Bannon (and Kellyanne Conway) are "yes men" more than Manafort is. They'll tell Trump "You're doing great, Boss....keep at it"....

as Trump continues to say stupid even crazy stuff. Manafort tried to stop it.

Ok, this is your final chance to prove that you are not a troll and not trolling. It's not a Democrat or a Republican thing to point out that a campaign is really floundering. Trump is not changing things to make them more efficient. He is changing things because he campaign is failing, and badly and that, and also in record time. Were this to be happening in the Clinton camp, I would use exactly the same descriptors. In this case, it's about strategema, not party. And finally, learn to debate like a real adult. Like I said, this is your final chance, otherwise, I just place you on iggy and that's that. Have a good day.

    Fantastic description!!

Having had the misfortune to work for someone very similar to Herr Drumpf I am not in the least surprised to see this happening because it fits their "management style". (I put that in quotes because they don't know squat about managing anything.) Anyone who doesn't kiss their posterior is shunned and/or fired and incompetents are promoted because they will smooch his sagging orange butt cheeks.

What we have now is a neophyte campaign manager and a neophyte candidate up against a professional and well organized team that is humming along like clockwork taking full advantage of the empty playing fields to score points with the voters.

And for those wondering where all the campaign funds went it might be a good idea to check out Manafort's pockets before he leaves tonight. After all if he made off with $12 million from the Russians he is probably bilking Trump for 3 or 4 times that amount. ;)

And yet the LA Times/USC daily tracking poll has Trump rising to just 1 point below Clinton. "Floundering"? ;-)

Its not just Manafort that took money and loans from the Russian government. I actually think trump the racist is trying to put distance between himself and Manafort and trying to quiet down Manafort's role so that the press stops investigating a trail that probably leads right back to trump the racist.

We all know that American banks stopped lending to him because of his 6 bankruptcies. The "debt king" was getting money from some shady governments...that's why he picked (or got coerced) into using Manafort in the first place.

lmfao...Is this the same poll that had Romney winning in a landslide?

Too funny...you trump cultists are soooo desperate.

LOL! You think the LAT liked Romney? ;-)

It is actually a new poll. It is a daily tracking poll. It is the only daily tracking poll that the public has access to.

But if you do not like LAT/USC polls how about the Zogby?

The only polling sites worth considering are aggregate polling sites...and even then, they only matter closer to the election.

What DOES matter right now is trump's support with major voting blocks....and those are dismal. If you think that a couple random outlier polls with questionable polling methodology means that trump the racist is winning the election, its rather pointless for me to correct you.

We went through this with the Romney group...who was doing far, far, far better than trump the racist is currently doing or will do in the future...and ultimately, Romney got trounced.

So if you think trump the racist is winning...good luck to you with that. It actually will make election day even funnier for me so please keep coming on and posting about how trump the racist is winning.

    - - - Updated - - -

I betcha trump doesn't end up paying him after he loses the election.

    Lawsuit number 3501.

In fact, daily tracking polls are considered more reliable than aggregate polls with old data. That is why campaigns use them and we never see them - until now. ;-)

Given that Trump is barely campaigning there should never be a surge for Trump in the polls.

Given the now united RP/DP/MSM attacks on Trump he should be down by at least 10.
The political class seems to have fallen down. ;-)

Attacks on trump? You mean playing video of the moronic, racist stuff he says?

Look if looking at some random poll gives you comfort that your KKK cult leader is going to win the election, do what you gotta do....good luck with that.

    See ya on election night.
