Uh Buffett could structure HER COMPENSATION any way he wanted to-just as he did his own. He only took a salary of 100K-which is a mere fraction of what similar situated executives normally are paid in salary

<yawn> Sorry, dude, but my rightful opposition to massive, systematic, institutionalized, and wholly gratuitous injustice does put me in the same moral category as the abolitionists, and I will thank you to remember it.

And sorry, dude, but those who dishonestly attempted to justify slavery (and the same applies to apologists for any other form of massive, systematic, institutionalized, and wholly gratuitous injustice) by accusing the abolitionists of class envy and hatred of those who owned property were the most vicious, despicable, evil scum that have ever disgraced humanity and contaminated the earth by their presence.

No, that's just another bald falsehood from you. You simply made it up. Many ways to structure income to avoid paying income tax on it are only available to the owning class, not the working class. That is very much the point.
And the rest of his income, from OWNING, was structured to pay a lower rate of income tax than his secretary's earned income from working. Duh. If he had tried to pretend that his secretary owned the company, that would have been tax fraud, and he could have gone to jail for it. You know this. Of course you do. You merely have to refuse to know it because you have already realized that it proves your beliefs are false and evil.

No, that's just another fabrication on your part; but owning land deeds and other privileges is very similar to owning slaves, as I and others have proved over and over again. Remember the examples of the bandit in the pass, Crusoe and Friday, the actual former slave who told you explicitly that he was worse off as a "free" but landless worker than he had been as a slave, etc.? Here's another one you might find amusing:

A man dying of thirst in the desert stumbles into an oasis. But as he stoops to drink from the natural spring, he hears a pistol being cocked, and a quiet, menacing, sibilant voice says, "Uh-uh. I know what you're thinkin', trespasser: is he going to charge me six days' labor for a sip of water, or only five? And to tell the truth, in all this free market, I hadn't quite totaled up the rent myself. But bein' as its 44 miles to the next waterhole, which might as well be the other side of the world, and I'd as soon kick your sorry butt clean off my land, you gotta ask yourself a question: do I feel thirsty today? Well, do ya, slave?"
<yawn> "So the question is, which are the least bad taxes? In my opinion the least bad tax is the property tax on the unimproved value of land, the Henry George argument of many, many years ago."
-- Milton Friedman, Nobel laureate in economics and free market icon

At this point, the most honorable way out for you would probably be to kneel in a cesspool and slit your belly.

Yeah, I know you haven't. Sad.
So he wouldn't have to pay the same rate of income tax on his unearned income that his secretary did on her earned income. Duh.

Now you're an expert on Warren Buffett? YAWN!!!! I'm sure you'll want to criticize his recent profit on his BYD investment.

    https://markets.businessinsider.com...tt-berkshire-hathaway-china-ev-munger-2023-11

Berkshire has scored a big win with BYD, as it paid the equivalent of about $1 a share in 2008, and the Hong Kong-listed shares now change hands at more than $30.

I am fairly expert on federal taxes and I know that he rigs his own compensation to keep his taxes low and then he sheds crocodile tears about it to ingratiate himself to his Democrat fluffers. No other executive at his level makes anywhere near as low as a 100K a year. that's less than a GS-13 or a junior partner at a decent Midwest Law firm

why do you think he only gives himself 100K in salary when any other executive of his level is making at least a million? He makes less as a CEO than I did as a senior associate of a decent sized Cincinnati Law firm 38 years ago

    https://www.denverpost.com/2012/02/01/rosen-buffetts-tax-fraud/

Buffett extracts a pound of lie from an ounce of truth while throwing in a heavy dose of half truths and convenient omissions. While it’s true that rich and not-so-rich investors pay lower tax rates on things like capital gains, dividends, and interest on municipal bonds than is paid on ordinary wage and salary income, there are perfectly good reasons for that. .....
But Buffett’s worst manipulation is lumping together income taxes and payroll taxes in the comparison with his secretary. Payroll taxes are for specifically dedicated programs like Social Security and Medicare. Investment income isn’t and shouldn’t be subject to the payroll tax, and Buffett has far more investment income than his secretary.

So you know that it is much easier to avoid them when you own than when you earn.
No, he identifies the fact that the tax system has been rigged to burden the working class so that the owning class does not have to repay the subsidies they are given.
He's not an executive. He's an owner. That is the point.

Because like me, and unlike you, he knows that the earned incomes of working people are taxed at a much higher effective rate than the unearned incomes of the owning class.
Right: the most important reason being that the rich prefer not to repay the subsidies they are given.

    More untruths...
https://www.newsweek.com/warren-buf...to an article published Tuesday by ProPublica.

Billionaire Warren Buffett has offered his defense for reportedly paying the least taxes out of the 25 richest people in America.

Buffett's wealth grew by $24.3 billion between 2014 and 2018 but he only paid $23.7 million in taxes, a rate of 0.1 percent, after reporting taxable income of $125 million, according to an article published Tuesday by ProPublica.

Buffett's comments have always been about percentage of taxes paid on income - and this statement demonstrates just that.

we have proven the top one percent pay the highest effective FEDERAL INCOME TAX rates

Buffett, despite his pandering pays far far more tax dollars in income taxes than millions of people combined. GUESS WHAT, he doesn't use nearly as much government services as those millions

But it's the top 1% in reported income, not the richest 1%, a fact I have told you repeatedly, but you refuse to admit. Most of those "top 1%" are working people: doctors, lawyers, engineers, self-employed business people, commissioned sales people, corporate executives, etc., NOT the OWNING class that pockets the subsidies.
That is just more of your disingenuous and misleading garbage. Who uses the services is completely irrelevant, as I have proved to you repeatedly. Buffett gets incomparably more benefit from them.

When Medicare or Medicaid pays a drug monopolist $1000 for a patented drug that cost $1 to manufacture, evil, lying sacks of $#!+ claim that that is a $1000 benefit to the patient. But honest people who tell the truth identify the fact that it is actually a $999 subsidy to the owner of the drug patent. Until you can find a willingness to admit that fact, everything you say on the subject will be nothing but fallacious and disingenuous filth.

When the government pays a bunch of slumlords $1G for Section 8 housing that only cost the owners $100M to build and maintain, evil, lying sacks of $#!+ claim that that is a $1G benefit to the tenants. But honest people who tell the truth identify the fact that it is actually a $900M subsidy to the slumlords. Until you can find a willingness to admit that fact, everything you say on the subject will be nothing but fallacious and disingenuous filth.

In an attempt to get this thread back on topic, Trump continues to lie about the affairs with Karen McDougal and Stormy Daniels. Why does he lie about the actual affairs? There is no way he could possibly take the stand, with these easily provable lies.
