CNN)Former President Donald Trump was booed by a portion of an audience in Dallas on Sunday when he said he had received a Covid-19 booster shot, according to video of the closed press event that was shared on social media.

The comments by Trump -- who, despite championing his administration's efforts to develop Covid vaccines, rarely discusses his own vaccination and has largely declined to encourage others to get it -- came during a stop of his tour with former Fox News host Bill O'Reilly.

ow did the party get too stupid for even Trump? Is this the opening Palin needs to steal the party away? A large majority of republicans ARE vaccinated…but the minority seems to control the gop narrative. Could it spell division in the midterms?

Can you please clarify which sweeping generalization fallacy you are presenting? Is the entire party stupid or just the booers you say represents the entire party?

So is he disqualified from being the gop nominee again?

The creatures almost always turn on the creator...

But I can't imagine there was all that much booing, if the attendance figures are accurate....

While I applaud this sick old man for getting a booster, it might have made a difference if he had done it on TV... probably not, but you never know...

Did JFK or JFK Jr. show up at his Dallas rally? That was the current buzz in Nutso-land...

"Yes," Trump says to a smattering of boos in the audience. "Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't," Trump says in the video, seemingly trying to quiet the boos. "That's all right, it's a very tiny group over there."

How many boos in a spattering? Must be a real slow news day.

It won't come out for a while but rest assured he's got some kind of financial stuff in the works. He is never concerned about anybody else so there has to be something more behind him saying that.

Also, it's kind of strange to me that he told the Axios interviewer he takes no responsibility for the 100,000+ deaths but he wants all the glory in the vaccine being developed. He has been trying to get the named to his also.

ETA: I don't believe he got vaccinated. He's way too boisterous to have done that in private. I think it was posted here but someone said that Trump talked DeSantis into buying many doses of Regeneron (the stuff they gave Trump in the hospital) so maybe he's trying to cash in on that one.

And to think that this pandemic was supposed to disappear like a miracle, with the warm weather, in spring 2020...

It's always a pleasure to have reality explained to you by a Trumpist.

Tell me, in this video, people are booing Trump for what reason?

Your question assumed one of two sweeping generalization fallacies. Which one was it?

Yep. Hurricanes can be nuked and windmill noise kills birds.

Oh, and water pressure in the shower is important while he takes no responsibility for his non-leadership during the pandemic. Priorities are a bit skewed there.

You call that booing? Compare that to the chants of F Joe Biden.

This was a pro-Trump rally. Biden doesn't get this kind of "F Joe Biden" response at his own rallies.

People who actually care about COVID don't go to rallies these days. Meanwhile, Trump supporters, who don't care about COVID, can't fill his stadiums. His rallies have gone, what, 50%, 70% unfilled?

    What?

Obama, Pelosi, Newsom, San Fran’s mayor, AOC, and many more all went to events with lots of people. Then they are the sporting events, planes, subways, etc. Even though a lot of people say not to gather, they still manage to gather, just don’t you do it.

Think as Trump (ummm eewwww but…..). It upset him badly that he actually got COVID and I believe it did scare him. He has always put on the front that he is “remarkably fit” - witness his original “fitness report” prior to taking office.

As for the reason he is pushing vaccines it is nit just “the left” saying that the death rate among the unvaccinated, mostly republicans, is reaching a point where it would actually start impacting on voting numbers

And there lies the hot sticky mess. You’re implying it’s safe if you’re vaccinated, so why are you afraid of the unvaccinated? If you’re vaccinated and wearing a mask, then you’re safe, at least that’s the argument. So why the contempt for people who aren’t vaccinated and don’t wear masks, those are the people the vaccine and masks are protecting you from, or at least thats what we’re being told.

It’s not that simple, perhaps why republicans constantly need us to explain it.
Seatbelts work, but a drunk driver can still kill you even if you wear it.

Why does that matter? Vaccination wasn’t part of his point.
