Trump now urges Americans to stop politicizing Covid19, and blame China

We’ve done better or similar than a few major EU countries. We’ve had more cases but we also have 350mil people. But our death rate has been quite respectable considering our “terrible” healthcare. Far lower than a couple EU nations. And international travel from Asia to the US is very high compared to most of the world.

 

1. Deaths per 1M pop;

U.S., 9th highest deaths per 1M pop, (currently at 521), thus, out of 215 countries, we’ve done better than 8 countries.......MAGA!

LAST, do Veterans care about their Deployment Fatality Rate (DFR)? Certainly not! “We shall remember THEM”.

In other words, we may have the lowest Case Fatality Rate, but like our Veterans, people will remember those who died, thus, by year end, the plus 250,000 fatalities.

 

The more testing that is done reveals that exposure to the virus is far more asymptomatic or mild than we were led to believe.

People who want to make this into the dramatic horror movie they wish it to be should be discouraging testing.

You don’t get that positive testing is showing how weak this virus is.
The more positively tested the lower the death rate and sickness rate.
Testing should be anathema to you and maybe should be banned as the results don’t support your notions of how dangerous this virus is in your world view.
I support full testing of the entire population if they test for antibodies.

The overall death rates are irrelevant if you're in a vulnerable population. There is no treatment so if you're in a vulnerable group and begin to show symptoms you will likely die. Even if you survive it is an agonizing malady and has a lot of lingering effects

Testing shows where the disease is, testing and contact tracing is the main way to stop the spread. It's the main reason S. Korea has only just recently broken 300 deaths out of 51 million people.

Hispanics are useful to the Dems but are very socially conservative. And once established in the US will likely be appalled by dem support for abortion for example. US Dems have sown the seed for their own destruction as this voting block will never support the dem party as they assume.

I don't care about voting blocks. I try to appeal to individual voters. People are entitled to whatever opinions they may have on many subjects and nobody is in full agreement on all things

So Democrats like Hispanics as long as they are dependents and are waiting on tables, but hate Hispanics if they are wealthy business owners who are not oppressed and have a seat at the table with the POTUS offering advise to the highest levels.

Seems to me that stereotyping people into hive-minded clumps and assuming every piece of the human clump must be like-minded, else that individual is broken, is far more common from the left-wing.

Despite that, I am very fond of several individual Democrats and left-wingers each one special and unique. I also like quite a few conservatives who manage to "stereotype like a Democrat". LOL
