Former President Donald Trump reminded people that he predicted the stock market would "crash" if Joe Biden won the White House.

Trump took to Truth Social and posted a Sunday story from the Daily Wire, which reported that a clip of Trump arguing that the election of Biden would lead to a plummeting stock market circulated online on Friday after Wall Street saw a bloodbath.

"They said the stock market will boom if I am elected," Trump said during a 2020 presidential debate. "If he's elected, the stock market will crash."

Trump began his stock market posts with two images comparing the financials under Trump to their performance under Biden.

The perfect timing for an “I told you so!” moment. Trump was right as usual about the economy and the stock market should clueless Joe become President. Biden has crashed our economy and likely deliberately so.

Trump was great for our economy, jobs, main st. wage growth, and the stock market. Even after the shock of the China virus, he has our economy on the right track.

I wish I could find the thread where some left-winger told us, back in 2017 when the market skyrocketed because of Trump, that the first year of the market was always the result of the former president. Now here we are, Biden's economy has turned to crap, and the market is down 10,000 points. Democrats.... SMH

This downturn will bring in a GOP Congress to check the president’s worst policies and stabilize the economy.

Pointing out the failures of the current cognitively challenged demented fascist old man in office now and contrasting his utter failures with what we had will help a lot.

You don't like to see credit given where it's due? Other than that, who gives a care about servicing the GOP? Democrats have been servicing them since Biden was reprogrammed and installed.

Isn’t strange how even if someone wanted to create ass kicking Biden threads there isn’t anything to ass lick about.

The left creates more threads about Trump and derails more threads about Trump than anyone on the planet. Now let’s hear those famous left wing words of ‘that’s different.’

    Dow Jones:

    Nov. 6 2020: 28,300
    Today: 29,300

    You were saying?

Of course, you could have looked that up yourself, but I bet that your "feeling" was that the Dow was lower today than the day Trump was voted out. That's the problem when "feelings" for the dear leader trump actual data, threads like this one will be created, making the OP look silly.

No, it actually won't. Pointing out the current failures will only work if we distance ourselves from the orange buffoon. The country has already spoken on the matter. They would rather take a baby sniffing, dementia ridden vegetable over the narcissistic, pre-adolescent thumb sucking asshat trump. Franky, despite the predictable dem failures it's not hard to understand why Biden was elected. Let it go ffs.

I was saying Biden erased all the Trump gains. Do you deny that?

I don't believe it is due. Neither does most of the country. We prospered (to the extent we did) despite trump - not because of him. Other than, that I care! I want to see a strong, family valued, articulate, principled GOP leader not the grotesque monstrosity (and helplessly stupid man) that is trump.

We let the dems off the hook for the terrible economy every time we inject trump into the conversation. Why the f*** do we insist on shooting ourselves in the foot? We should be shifting attention as far way from trump as we can and focusing on real leaders (like Desantis).

how are your investments under biden feeling? have you noticed gas is going back up again? Isn't it strange how CNN had a china virus death count on their screen for more than a year but no mention of gas, inflation, market crashing, etc?

You can stop trying to pull the wool. The market came up 12,000+ points under Trump. It was nearly up to 32,000 when Biden took over, and that was after Trump had to bring us out of a completely shut down economy thanks to democrat leaders forcing businesses in their cities to close. Now the market is almost down to 29,000, 3,000 points below its mark when Biden took over and we're not even 2 years into his presidency. He's moving the wrong direction.

There you go, Trump is now bragging about a prediction he made.

Well, let’s play the “I told you so” game

FACT; In several forums, I predicted Trump will lose the 2022 election, and mainly due to his personality/character, AND I WAS RIGHT!

And in reference to his percentage of popular vote, I was dead on!

Here’s another prediction; Trump will be indicted after the midterm elections.

    Yes, it will.

Right now, the smart conservatives (the MAGA conservatives) are making huge strides with Hispanic voters (and to a lesser extent Black men) because the MAGA working class message resonates well with them. They are people who want safe communities with FUNDED police forces. They want affordable gas/energy/food. They don't want green energy policies forcing them into electric cars that they cannot afford and are impractical for them. They don't want their children being groomed in public indoctrination camps and taught to be racists by creepy uber leftists. Those are the sort of issues that Republicans CAN and SHOULD be running on, and issues that can expand the Republican voter base. All Democrats have at this point is promoting the murdering of their own children for sake of convenience.

Instead of saying the above, the stupid CONservatives such as Ben Shapiro would rather have us continue getting distracted by leftist lies and diversions about social issues (instead of economic issues) and continue groveling for the "suburban white soccer mom" vote even though that subgroup of people has been lost for conservatives for quite a while now. Give it up already. The subgroups of people that conservatives should instead be focusing their attention on (and the people who the MAGA wing of the Republican party has already been making good strides with) is Hispanics and Black men.

Mark my words. Given a semi-fair election, Laxalt and Lombardo (especially Laxalt) will win in Nevada, and it will largely be due to the Hispanic vote that the "non-Trumpy conservatives", who enjoy being battered not only by Democrats but also by their own party leaders, don't give a **** about.

Nope. Distancing from "the orange buffoon" will only lead to Republican losses. Embracing the MAGA movement is the future of the Republican Party if they wish to actually WIN elections.

Yes, they did. Trump rallies continue to be attended by large swaths of people meanwhile any sort of Democrat gatherings are feebly attended. The 2020 selection was not an election.

Not what happened... A selection is not an election. Trump is a proper noun and should be capitalized no matter how much the media programmed you to hate the man.

Biden was not elected. Election fraud is not an election. Your views being expressed here are precisely why Republicans don't win outside of instances of winning by default.

Yes, I do, deny it, the Dow would be at 20,000 today if that were true. In contrast, the Dow is higher today then at the time when Trump was voted out. So, therefore, it did not erase Trump's gains, it erased the gains from the first year of the Biden presidency, which Trump, of course, did not predict. But, feel free to stick with your "feelings" that Biden has crashed Trump's market. My guess is that no amount of data can stand up to those "feelings".

My take: The market went up under Biden, then it went down. the market went up under Trump, then it went down, twice. The market went up under GWB, but crashed twice. So, forgive me if I don't believe in the simplistic notion that anyone can predict that Dems crash the stock market, and Republicans don't. I rather go with the data, which tell me to stay the course with low-cost, index funds, and keep dollar cost averaging into the market, no matter who is in the WH. If you and Trump are so smart about the market, you can market time. Oh, wait, if Trump had actually been able to do that, he would be an actual billionaire now, and he wouldn't need to rip off investors and tax payers through fraudulent real estate evaluations.

What was soooooooooooooo bad during the Trump-era?? Again, Trump is capitalized no matter how much the media has programmed you to hate the man.
