Speaking to One America News Network, Trump again confirmed that he’d taken the booster, and added: “I watched a couple of politicians be interviewed and one of the questions was, ‘Did you get the booster?’ Because they had the vaccine, and they’re answering like—in other words, the answer is ‘yes,’ but they don’t want to say it, because they’re gutless. You gotta say it, whether you had it or not, say it.” Trump didn’t mention DeSantis by name, but the Florida governor has repeatedly dodged questions on whether he’s taken a COVID-19 booster shot.

will the gop survive another trump divide and conquer primary? Pretty interesting he’s banking that the 70% of republicans who are vaccinated will decide an upcoming primary.
Or maybe he just being defensive? What do you think?

IDGAF if Trump / DeSantis / anyone else got the vaccine, the booster(s), or the flu shot. As long as they're not trying to force / pressure me or my family into it, we're good. As soon as they try to mandate it / twist my arm into complying with their edicts on the subject, we have a problem. AFAICT, neither Trump nor DeSantis are doing that, but lots of Dems are. Either Trump or DeSantis in 2025 would be a marked improvement over the current Alzheimer-addled occupant of the White House.

to be fair, Trump hid his getting the vaccine early on, but I do agree with him, it's getting ridiculous, just admit you got the jab

They did the right thing and Trump is also doing the right thing telling people to get it. You should care. Why you don't is.......let's just say, not helping the situation.
We already HAVE a problem because of people like you. There is no logical, health, scientific reason for you and your family NOT to.
Because they can see the forest through the trees
That's some funny stuff right there.

The vaccine doesn't work. That's the health / scientific reason.

"Pfizer CEO on the vaccine that the U.S. government wants to mandate for the entire population: “Two doses of the vaccine offers very limited protection, if any. ..." https://t.co/bflGbJWFzh" / Twitter

LOL! We have a problem because the vaccines don't work. For example, Vermont has the distinction of being the most-vaccinated state in the Union. So how are they doing?

Vermont Coronavirus Map and Case Count - The New York Times (nytimes.com)

Not good. Their case count has sky-rocketed to all-time highs and their COVID hospitalizations have surpassed the highs of a year ago.

The story is similar in the next-highest-vaccinated states of Rhode Island, Maine, and Massachusetts.

I think he appreciates people giving his name a booster. Why should we care?

Probably a smart move from Trump. DeSantis could be Trump's strongest opponent in a primary. Right now DeSantis is afraid of the Trump base and will be reluctant to attack him until he knows for sure Trump is running and he has a good chance of beating him. Until then he has to be a Trump supporter to keep the base happy and keep the chance that Trump will pass the crown to him. Trump on the other hand knows if he will run or not. He can take free shots at DeSantis as long as he doesn't go overboard without hurting his own position. If he can portray DeSantis as weak or subordinate it will go a long way for him when the primary starts.

This is like Game of Thrones without the dragons.

It's not yet clear who is running, and a fair bit can happen over the course of a campaign season that will affect my decision, but if the primary election were tomorrow and I had a choice between Trump, Cruz, or DeSantis, I'd probably pick one of the latter two. If the general election were being held tomorrow, and my choices were Trump or Biden, Trump would be getting my vote.

Hold on a second. What's today's date. Oh, it's just January 12, 2022. I thought it might be April 1st.

Are you talking about the dude that...

Refused to read his morning briefings because he's functionally illiterate, lazy and doesn't give a damn?

Backed down because Pelosi hurt his feelings about implementing travel restrictions?

Downplayed the virus because he "didn't want anybody to panic" (while making them panic over "them" taking over our country)?

Refused to take any responsibility for the hundreds of thousands of deaths in our country and said that sh!t on camera?

Refused to accept that people have a right to make their own choices regarding their health and his dumbass made it policy that his staff members could NOT wear masks?

So concerned about being fired that he created a whole conspiracy from thin air and gaslighted his own supporters into believing it?

So concerned about being fired that he delayed Stimulus checks for weeks because he wanted his name on them.

So concerned about being fired that he was running around like a chicken with its head cut off having rallies to keep pushing that he needs to be re-elected while dropping the ball on COVID?

So concerned about being fired that he told his supporters in N.C. to vote twice (via mail and go to the polls)?

Appointed DeJoy to disenfranchise voters in certain areas by cutting overtime, removing mail sorting equipment and mailboxes in certain communities?

Fires and trashes anybody that he doesn't like or he feels isn't his kiss dumbass every second of the day?

Is so selfish and tone-deaf that he put some Secret Service agents at risk when he had COVID *just* to drive him around to wave at his cult members.

Is so spineless that he could not disavow white supremists, the Proud Boys or any other fringe hate group when specifically asked to do so at the Presidential debate.

Is so afraid that people other than the ones included in his "us v. them" hate speeches get a chance at having something to close to equality, he does his battle cry about why they don't deserve it every chance he gets ("Biden is gonna...<blah, blah> and you'll be overrun by darkies and terrorists everywhere in YOUR country".)

Invited, pumped up and abandoned thousands of his supporters and watched in glee while they scaled walls, beat the hell out of law enforcement officers, did nothing to call in back up and disavowed them hours later? [That's really low. He won't disavow known hate groups but threw his avid supporters under the bus in a heartbeat].

Just got "boo"d last month because he mentioned the idea of being vaccinated and immediately backed down?

Didn't follow his own addiction to media attention and claims he got vaccinated when he was still in the White House. BS. He didn't get vaccinated or he would have passed a law that all of us were REQUIRED to watch his dumbass get the vaccine.

    And, my absolute FAVORITE ONE...

Are you talking about the dude that didn't have the cojones to accept that he dropped the ball on COVID and deserved to be fired because of it?

HOW IN THE HELL CAN HE EVEN MAKE HIS LIPS CALL SOMEBODY ELSE "GUTLESS"?

I thought we just celebrated New Years but it HAS to be April Fool's Day. This can't possibly be real. <smdh>

I don't know if that is true. Pretty much every conservatives I know is vaccinated. I have often said political affiliation is not a good indicator of whether someone is vaccinated or not because if someone came up and only told you who they voted for your accuracy for knowing if they are vaccinated or not would be very low. You could argue that there is a strong correlation that an unvaccinated person votes republican but it is harder to argue that a republican is unvaccinated. If you simply polled every republican politician and every employee at Foxnews and Newsmax I think you would find an extremely high percentage (maybe 90%+) are vaccinated. Those type of number tells me that political affiliation is a bad indicator. If I was doing the analysis I would look for a different indicator.

    Ok
!) That is not the whole quote from the Pfizer CEO and is taken out of context. That's probably why you cut it off when you did and didn't include the first part.
    Pants on fire to you
    2) So, what part don't you get that the vaccines were made for the original Alpha and then the Delta variant took over so the vaccine still works, but not as good as it does with Alpha. Same for Omicron. This isn't hard to understand......you choose not to.
Sure, cases are up all over but the FACTS are that the vaccinated don't get as sick as the unvaccinated and they are contagious for a shorter period of time so therefore don't spread the virus as much.
The "all time highs". You failed to mention if they are vaccinated or not. Why?

A heck of a lot of those are primarily opposed to the mandates, not the vaccine in itself.
