Trump's already reduced the Public Debt to GDP ratio.

So, you are completely against Kamala Harris' $500/mo guaranteed annual income?

Sure. Just like they would never confirm Kavanaugh before the election.

    Complete Horseshit.

The rise in the Federal debt is no worse than it was under Obama and Trump has reduced the Public Debt as a percentage of GDP.

In 2016 the deficit was 450 billion. Now it is 775 billion. Thats a massive reduction all right.

I am against universal basic income.

When Trump took office the Public Debt to GDP was 105.26%
    Now, 6 quarters later it's down to 103.84%, a reduction of 1.42%

Over Obama's last six quarters it increased by 5.64%

The ones that have imports in their supply chain are paying a hell of a lot of new taxes as they tip the treasury everytime they use tariffed goods.

New data shows, American businesses and consumers just paid a 45% spike in duties.

"For the most recent months available, August 2018, the amount of tariffs paid increased by $1.4 billion -- or 45% -- as compared to tariffs paid in August 2017.

Once the tariffs on an additional $200 billion in goods kick in -- these numbers will continue to trend sharply upward.

301 tariffs cost American companies roughly $550 million in August. Products subject to section 301 remedies faced $594 million in tariffs in August, compared to just $46 million in August 2017. The large increase in tariffs came despite a less than 1% increase in the value of imports. Keep in mind: "List 2" tariffs did not take effect until August 23 and another batch of "List 3" tariffs will take effect in September, so tariff costs should rise significantly in future months," said the report.

Anything for the lower income folks that are constantly shafted by both political parties?

I'll believe it when I see it....

Both parties seem to only care about the extremely wealthy or what's left of the upper middle class yet completely ignore the plight of the underclass that anymore is making up a large majority of the United States. You can only ignore us for so long...

It's still a drop in the bucket.

Corporate federal tax receipts are around $225bn a year. Had they accounted for the same proportion of federal receipts back in the 50's (30%) they'd be around $1tn.

A 45% increase in duty sure sounds a lot, but it's only about $1.5bn a month or $18bn a year.

US corporations have done an excellent job of shifting the tax burden to the individual.

Libs need to stop whining and start greasing ... mid-terms are going to be painful. A victory means a house that can't get a bill through the GOP senate for Trump to veto. Kavanaugh won't let Pelosi's mob legislate via the 9th circuit either. Ah! the sweet taste of victory? It isn't even the cards.

This proves conclusively that the Republican claims that the last tax cut was a " middle class tax cut" was a lie.

The left says the tax cut didn't give enough back to the middle class so Trump offers more and the left whines. No pleasing these people.

Yep, stock buybacks and CEO compensation is what we got for 90%+ of the corporate tax cut. New investment into the future, i.e. equipment, research and people? NADA.

    Extractive capitalism at its best.

Deplorables are not all that gullible, and Trump is not a snake oil salesman.

    Trust me.

It's the left that wants middle class tax cuts not me. The middle class prospers when US corporations prosper so I would remove all corporate taxes which in reality is a middle class tax cut because corporate taxes add to the purchase price of goods or services they produce.
