Trump Steps Up Attacks on Mail Vote, Making False Claims About Fraud

When will Trump supporters, many of whom are decent, moral people finally let go? This to me is absolutely shocking. Trump not only threatening states with federal withholding for his own political advantage (and btw, I thought you guys were all for states rights, and states being able to hold elections however they see fit). But lying in a major way to get there. This is not a fib, this is a *******n lie of epic proportion. How do you guys stand by and idly watch thismorlly bankrupt man lie to you? When will your decency come back?

Are we suppose to trust a party who nominated a woman for president that lost 30k emails to keep track of ballots?

Wasn't Mike Pence tasked to head up a committee to investigate voter fraud right after the election? Whatever happened with that? Last I remember they were looking to DHS to get data.

 

The president votes by mail, and has for decades. So do overseas military members, For decades.

So, when are you going to offer up some evidence of this imaginary cheating?

It ran from May 2017, to Jan 2018....States would cooperate with turning over information...mainly deep blue States, obviously with something to hide

Just about the only voter fraud they could find was a resident alien in Texas who voted for Trump.

We all saw the ring doorbell vids of Dem vote harvesters offering to fill out the ballet and have them sign. Anyone who doesn't believe that wide spread mail in ballets opens up to major fraud is simply paying politics. Let's see how many illegals are paying taxes now? Dems say a ton, well the only f'ing way that's possible is to get illegal social security numbers. I'm sure that illegal would never send in a ballot with that fake name, they wouldn't dare. I'm sure people wouldn't search recent deaths and fill out ballets for them, couldn't possibly happen right. I could go on and on but why the heck would a party want to take that risk? What's so dumb about the dems is they think the fraud could only be accomplished by them, kind of like Believe All Women, they never learn.

 

If Dems are for fair and clean elections, why do they fight tooth and nail against a voter Id laws? Why do they fight tooth and nail when it comes time to do an audit of those who are dead and removing them from the voter registration rolls? Just thinking about that one.

 

Regardless of which side of the argument you are on, cheating happens. I don't really follow this issue in detail but from my memory there seemed to be cheating examples of both sides of the political divide. The real question is cheating a statistical problem. Does it make a difference? If Trumps allegations are correct that millions of people vote illegally than it would be a real problem. The problem is we have not seen evidence of that only select examples of cases. The additional problem is Trump controlled all three areas of government when he was elected if anyone had the power to weed out voter fraud he was in the position to do so. He created a committee to investigate and put Mike Pence in charge. I remember they had some problems obtaining data from states but then I also remember Trump saying that DHS had the same data and they had access to that. I have no idea what happened after? Did they examine the data? What was found? Was a report released to the public with the findings?

I remember that but then Trump said he could get the same info from DHS. After that we heard noting. Did DHS have the info? Was it examined? What did they find?

 

But red states could have close to 50% democrats who may try to cheat. It is not like red states are democrat free. You would think that is were the cheating would be happening? What is the point of cheating in states they would win anyways.

So, I guess you guys are all on board with the president just blatantly lying on his twitter feed, and threatening federal retribution (which of course he has no power ot exercise here) in regards to states voting rights? I remembered you guys as states righters. Now you support someone who just threatened states, who lied while doing it, and who just last month claimes that he had "total" authority to open and close a state as he saw fit.

Why cant we just vote in Walmart or Target? They've never closed down and the mail in ballots are supposed to be for safety. If we could always go to big chain stores to buy food, we can go there to cast a vote.

I do find it amazing how the left is trying to get mail voting past with no formal vote, just through gubernatorial decree while every time the GOP states pass voter ID laws either by ballot legislation or through their own legislative power, its challenged in courts. If your state wants strictly mail in voting...which is only democrat states anyways, then go through the proper legal channels instead of underhandedly sneaking it into a bill to bail everyone out from a crisis.

 

Well, he could just take them to court over the initiative and put a stay on the decree that should suspend mail votes till after the election. Takes almost 2 years for voter ID laws to go into effect because of the courts, but somehow this should be passed and working within 5 months?

 

Deep red Tennessee just announced that everyone over age 60 is now eligible to vote by mail.
This has nothing to do with securing elections and everything to do with knowing they cannot win if every legal citizen can vote easily.

 

Looks like the only way Democrats can win elections is to keep cheating. Obama and his spying backfired so they will just manufacture the votes they need to steal election.
