I think my favorite part of all of this is the sudden contortion of what a disinfectant actually is.

Which is a chemical agent designed to deactivate or destroy microorganisms on Inert surfaces.

If it's designed to kill microorganisms inside the body, it's called an antibiotic, and if it's designed to kill microorganisms on the surface of the skin it's called an antiseptic.

But please, continue to contort the meaning of things to absolve Trump's stupidity.

Which is a much better defense then trying to say that he was talking about something real vs him trying to figure out how to use the fancy words that he has no clue about.

Though, I'm still unsure that it's a positive that instead of being maliciously stupid, he's simply clueless and incapable of letting the experts who understand what they are talking about explain things so that he doesn't appear as maliciously stupid.

Ah well. Either way, not Trump's best day at the podium. From his Tweets this morning, I have a feeling he won't be back at the podium for a while. Likely for the best in the long term.

Really? Because I heard no response and nothing is in the transcript. He looks over but there was nothing said in return. Nor was there any follow up after he was done where the Dr actually explained what he meant.

Your taking about Bill Bryan who leads the science and technology directorate at the Department of Homeland Security. He's the guy who came on after Trump and talks about how (and this is likely what Trump was actually talking about) effective solar light is on reducing the half life of the virus on surfaces and in the air.

Nothing to do with the body, but for the reduction of transmission via a non human object or surface.
