And it turned out it has worked for a great many people, so what in the world are you complaining about?

 

The teest of this drug in Brazil was stopped, because of the number of deaths among those who took the drug.

The VA test also shows an unacceptable number of deaths of those taking the drug.

"Claiming about" death seems reasonably justified.

Beyond that, Trump was pumping this drug at several briefings and actually bought 39 million doses and gave them to hospitals - a well known marketing trick. Why? It certainly wasn't because of the CDC or Dr. Fauci. Was it because of his personal interest in the manufacturer in France - where a major campaign contribuor has an enormous stake?

Perrhaps more importantly, why is the president promoting the use of untested solutions in a briefing about our progress on fighting this pandemic?

Why isn't he telling us about progress on his plan for opening the economy, what he's doing about PPE for hospitals (where 10% to 20% of the deaths are among the medical staff who get exposed), what's being done about testing, etc

If we need medical information, it should be information coming from those who know medicine. You don't go to the White House to get a diagnosis and prescription. You go to a licensed doctor.

 

Do you seriously think that what he has said about hydroxychloroquine, houshold cleaners, lights, lifting limits on social distancing, etc. came from Dr. Fauci or Dr. Birx?

Trump allowed science to be invollved in at least a couple of the 4 or 5 planning groups for determining what is required to open our economy. Through that process, he now has a plan. Do you see him promoting his plan? NO.

Haveing people say that Trump listens is ridiculous. Trump allows them in the sessions before he gives his briefing. Neither of these doctors can say he doesn't listen. Plus, it's an easy concession for them to make, as their jobs are in jeopardy.

The issue is what comes out the end - does it resemble what the CDC, Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx or any expert in contagious disease woul say.

And, the answer is a resounding NO. What Trump is saying does NOT come from those people other than in minor ways.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but the verdict is now in: From the horse's mouth at last night's debate, he said he was just kidding about injecting disinfectant.

So, here go all of the Trump fan theories and rationalizations:
-He was brainstorming
-UV light is already used internally for therapy
-Disinfectant was just another word for drug
-Trump will revolutionize medicine

No, he was just kidding. Must be nice to be kidding about therapies when 1000s are on their deathbeds praying for a new therapy to work. Oh well....

 

Actually it was quite clear he was talking hypothetically and ASKING questions to medical personnel. Could you do it? Is it possible? Is it like doing X? Watch the dumb video. He never told a soul that you SHOULD do anything that could kill them. But that’s because people LIE and make **** up, as usual.

 

I am so glad you did......this entire episode just highlights how nuts the left is when it comes to Trump. It's clear what he was saying and asking about....but of course the left lied, they claimed he told people to inject themselves with bleach....i mean how desperate and sad do you have to be to do that?

 

Well, they probably knew their only candidate was going to be Biden..... so, it makes sense, being desperate and all....
