He was one of the ones spreading the defamation that they were sued for.

He made accusations against Dominion that were completely made up, suggesting they had stolen the election. Fox argued in defense that no one would actually be stupid enough to trust Carlson with real news, but that didn't really help. I do agree with Fox, however, that it would take an idiot to think Carlson was worth listening to in any way. I'm glad that race baiting, fascist worshipping twirp was fired.

I assume that you have actual documentation to back that up, or you would never have posted it, correct?

Carlson was a big promoter of the Big Lie, promoting it on Fox, and giving every crackpot that Trump wanted to see on air.

Carlson lied all the time. He fans never cared.

But, after Fox lost the defamation case decisively, there had to be a fall guy.

There was general consensus that Carlson was off leash. Which is not a desirable trait among Fox presenters.

So, he want the way of Glen Beck and Bill O’Liely.

All you have to do is Google Fox News, Tucker Carlson and rigged election, and it will all come up.

He promoted teh Big Lie tirelessly. Which is what Murdoch wanted him to do until he last big in court. After that Carson was the fall guy.

Doing his deer in the headlights press release for Vladimir Putin didn’t rehabilitate him either.

All you have to do is the one thing you aren’t going to do, because your claim will collapse immediately.

You aren’t going to insult anyone’s intelligence by trying to claim that Carlson never promoted the big lie.

    That would be ridiculously false.

I refer to him as Carlson because I am NOT on a first name basis with the creep.

It's literally all in the court documents. It sounds like you are the only person on the forum who didn't know about it. You seriously didn't know that Fox argued that Carlson wasn't a real journalist, and no reasonable person would assume that he was? Really. I'm sorry to keep drawing this, out but his hilarious. I guess Carlson gained so much love from the far right by further worshipping Putin that he can still do no wrong in their eyes.

That wasn't even the question. You said "He made accusations against Dominion that were completely made up, suggesting they had stolen the election."

So far I've not seen that.

Your inability to keep up with the case is not my problem. Read up on it if you want.

I've quite enjoyed having not one but two posters come charging at me trying to prove what seems to be fake news. Why do you guys believe so much stuff that isn't true?

Why do you fail to read? But, hey, keep pretending that reality doesn't exist. It's what Trump, and Carlson supporters do best. Hell, the denial of reality is the entire bases of both men's . . . and I should put "men" here in quotation marks . . . business model.

OK what did I fail to read? What am I missing? I mean, this is kind of an old story so if the Tucker-Dominion link was so clear it should be pretty easy to point out right? I mean there was a court case and tons of Fox News hosts private messages were released, so it should be an easy ask to demonstrate this right? Right?

Try reading. I'll help you out with your homework: Tucker Carlson: firing highlights texts unearthed during Fox-Dominion trial | Fox News | The Guardian

Lol, you are literally defending someone who tried to get someone FIRED from his company FOR STATING A FACT because HE WAS WORRIED THAT FACT MIGHT OFFEND HIS AUDIENCE. You guys used to complain about snowflakes. Now you have a political "party" that is nothing more than a snowflake kingdom.

Like it matters if they debate or not. These are the same fools who had debates in 2020 that were a god awful waste of time. One a bumbling old man, the other a raving moron. Anybody has the power to recreate the event in their own bathtub. All you need is a bottle of strong booze and some of the cat turds from the litter box. You drink the booze until you're flammable and then sit in the bathrub and pretend the cat turds are dolls on a TV show and you have to make up their dialogue.

Actually, your end product may end up being smarter than anything these two idiots would say to each other in another round of debates.

This is not the first time someone has posted a link that proved my point and not theirs. In fact, it happened over this exact same issue last month. Link here.

So again, for both you and @TomFitz :

Tucker was the anti-Dominion guy at Fox, he wasn't mouthing the Dominion Conspiracy theory, he was bad mouthing it, and he did it on air. And I remember the episode.

So again, you guys and your fake news. Unfortunately this war is never won, since I'm likely going to have to respond to the exact same issue by one of you lefty posters. Maybe it will be next month, and maybe it's next year, who knows? I just know that no matter how many times you are shown this, you won't learn it and will still believe all of your fake stuff

    It's your doctrine.

In kind of looks like Bribed Demented Joe is running from Trump.

As Biden, Trump Face Off, Dems Losing Grip on Core Constituency.

The article breaks them down by race, but what they are losing are working folks.

They are 'shifting away from the Democrats and towards the Republicans”. The Democratic Party could be losing a reliable part of its coalition.'

Their focus is on Privileged Gentry and look down on working folks and really don't conceal their disdain for them.

Sift through the racial crap, I've included because that's the way the article is written because the author views us by race, rather than class.
    • '“Democrats are losing more ground with non-white voters than any other demographic.”
    • “High quality, long-running surveys like this from Gallup have been showing a steepening decline in Black and Latino voters identifying as Democrats for several years.”
    • “We’re used to the idea that young people lean more towards the Democrats than the old, but the opposite is true of Black Americans.”
    • “One factor is fading memories. The civil rights movement and 1964 realignment formed very strong political bonds for the people who lived through it, but this is less true for more recent generations.”
    • “I don’t think everyone appreciates that the familiar ‘young favour Dems, old favour Republicans’ gradient we see in the US population overall is *inverted* among the Black population.'
Democrats simply haven't done a good job for most people. They view themselves as superior and we are a society that views the entitled, privileged, snots with disdain.

The author claims this is poorly understood and not widely known, we've been telling you guys this was occuring, and why, for years.

One problem too much of the Left has is they think they may only listen to 'approved' sources. Look at how many posts where a Leftist is told something they don't want to hear, that attack the source, often by pretending that aggregator is the source, when it's just the website that called attention to it, even though links to the primary sources are in the article.

Explaining this does nothing, because what they have been condition to measure information against their received narrative rather than measuring facts against the real world.

Again, all the references to race make me gag, but that's the way the information is presented. Just think of these folks as part of a larger group of "Working Folks" who are moving from Dems (The party of the Privileged Gentry) to Republicans.

'Last week, an NYT poll showed Biden leading Trump by less than 10 points among non-white Americans, a group he won by almost 50 points in 2020. Averaging all recent polls (thnx
    @admcrlsn
), the Democrats are losing more ground with non-white voters than any other demographic.'

Bribed Joe shouldn't be running from a debate with Trump.

    Gallup finds a similar trend.

Others find similar. Since Dems shifted their focus to trying to illegitimately rule over everyone else, they have been surrendering all their gains over the last 60 years.

Trump should invite both RFK and Bribed Joe to debate.

'In 2020 the richest third of voters favoured the Dems for the first time, and the Republicans improved with the poorest. The GOP now appeals to working- and middle-class voters of all ethnicities'

    Think I've been kidding?

That's why when Dems threaten to raise taxes on the rich, I say "Screw - 'em, raise them, they are your voters." I've seen rich folks line up, humble brag about how rich they are, and claim that they would love to pay more taxes. So great news, pay up! And we can start with Bribed Joe's Crime Family paying all the taxes owed on their bribery income.

Did Senator Menendez pay the taxes on his bribes?

The audience to a Trump/RFK debate would likely be massive.
