Trump White House blocked effort to mail every US household face masks

High tax rates are not true nor a problem for our innovations.
I watched the late 1990s and 2000s manufacturers owners had a large number of Chinese companies offer to pay minimum wage or even "interns", many with Chinese Engineering degrees, to come to these businesses in the USA, to work with and replace the long term workers in the USA.

A number of these businessmen jumped at the chance and happily hired the foreigners and, as soon as possible, let the expensive old-timers go and made the business owners profits soar!
A few business owners I talked with were bitterly of how these high educated workers were going to go back home to China and take over the American work, but these long time businesses had protection, patents, agreements, etc,
But after a time (and not a long time, actually), with the in-depth expertise the Chinese had learned, China worked to make the NEXT version of technologies to make the world faster, stronger, less expensive and more capable in every way. (While Americans continue to think China are play with Tinker Toys.) Along with buying and controlling raw materials (like the materials needed to make masks).

The USA can't even make effective N95 masks. Its sad.
