    Are you lefties this upset that a doctor prescribed something to Trump. You obviously disagree. Where is your medical degree that you know better?

    There is ample evidence (most of which has been posted on this forum) based on clinical studies of the efficacy of HQ. Apparently our friend is not as "curious" as her moniker claims.

    As an aside I saw the reporting of this on CBS News last night which again confirms the fake news on the MSM.

    Many drugs are safe, but we don't take them to prevent things, just in case. Would you take a blood pressure medicine if you didn't need to, in hopes it would prevent high blood pressure? How about sinus medicine? Will it prevent a sinus infection?

    HQ is taken as a prophylactic for Covid and other illnesses. It's been around since the 1950's.

    No. That's why I asked the question in my OP. There are literally no doctors suggesting this as preventive, so why are his doctors doing it? It causes concern. Our president should not be used as a test case.

    AGain, read slowly if needed, you are not a doctor, you are not Trump's doctor, so what degree do you have to question what his doctor is doing?

    And I have read that it can be used as a preventative, and studies were going to look further into it, since parts of the world that have high cases of malaria, who then have lots of patients taking hcq had far less cases of covid.

    There are drugs that are treatments and drugs that are used as preventive. This is not preventive, and no study shows it is preventive. I guess you are okay with our president being a test case, but I'd prefer he wasn't. There are some indications it can exacerbate heart conditions, and Trump has an issue with his heart.

    I am extremely concerned about his well being, and I'm not sure why you would doubt me on that. I'm not claiming to have medical expertise. I'm literally reading medical expert's opinions on this and using that:

    Many hear openly express their hatred for President Trump.
    One to the point where he/she/alphabet stated in a thread they wanted him to catch the Chinese Virus and die.
    Most of those anti-Trumpers have told us all that taking Hydroxychloroquine to aid or prevent the effects of the Chinese virus is worthless, so why are they wasting their time getting involved over Trump taking the medication? Who the hell cares what Trump takes? His doctor says it is OK for him to do so, I don't care if he spreads it on his Wheaties.

    Wait, is this the same doctor that has said that Trump is in excellent health? The same one that said his health is remarkable? I hope it is because we need doctors like that or we could have a yuge opioid problem in the country.........wait.....
    I will ask his doctor.....are they on this forum? What is the user name? If they aren't, what is your point? Are there any doctors on the forum that can speak on the subject? If not, what's your point? No one here, so far, is a medical doctor so deflecting to one is pointless. The point is to debate the good/bad of the president's actions.

    Many are as prescribed by their physicians. It’s used extensively in Spain, India, China, Turkey, and many other countries including the US.
