I see this daily. I have seen this happening since Biden was sworn into office. I see Democrats hate talking about Biden because they too see his failures.

You are talking about a president who has been out of office for the better part of a year while at the same time avoiding talking about the current president who has screwed up just about everything he has done.

 

You want to compare their performance with COVID? How about unemployment? The stock market? Biden may have screwed up "about everything" he has done. trump screwed up 'everything' he did.

I can't see that Biden has done anything except screw up, which Obama pointed out long before Biden became president.

Happens every time. They can't defend Biden so they deflect to Trump. It is as predictable as sunrise.

 

It's as predictable as sunrise all right. Trump supporters did the same while he was in office, always bringing up Hillary, Obama, or the Democrats. It must almost be a relief for some of them now that they can play the "he's the not the president anymore so now he can't possibly be relevant" card. Obama supporters did the same thing with Bush when Obama was in, and the Bush folks did the same thing with Bill Clinton. It's a pattern that gets played out on both sides of the aisle every time the president changes.

I would argue that Trump is more relevant than most as he hasn't even been out of office a year yet, is still heavily involved in politics including the announcement of a major political and social media business recently, is planning on running for president again in three years, and according to a pathetically larger group of his supporters than you would ever hope would be possible in an educated country, Trump didn't even lose and should STILL be the president. He's relevant.

 

Reasonable Democrats need to realize there's no place for them in the party....visited my brother yesterday and he was hot as a blowtorch, seems he spends time on the local Dem party website and according to him it's nothing but Trump, Trump, Trump (sort 'a like here), and the cause celebre there is TRANSGENDER BATHROOM RIGHTS IN SCHOOLS....sooo, still being a bit naïve at 57 he posted that if they want to win elections they need to focus on the bread and butter issues that affect everyone rather than a sideshow for well less than .01% of the population...AND THEY BANNED HIM!!! Way to go babies, you just created an INDEPENDENT! I can't repeat our conversation due to profanity and bandwidth issues but the gist of it was going forward if future Democratic candidates had nothing to sell but garbage he could care less about, and he's not impressed with the Republican HE'D STAY HOME! The humor to me was that Trump was more a symptom of the problem .. than an actual problem himself .. and sometimes the people get what they deserve .. and Blue definitely deserved Trump .. down the same tulip road .. just a different patch..
