While a gun may rank as a great tool, you cant magically declare they could not have been killed by other means, many acts of terror neither required nor used guns and make no mistake, this was an act of terror.

Pretty sure they're both alive and recovering. But to the point, we should probably examine the rationale behind the attacker if and when that person is caught. Triggers don't pull themselves, and those of us who support 2A rights won't trade the appearance of safety (by removing firearms) for actual rights. We know the rewards outweigh the risks by far.

This shooting has nothing to do with guns or Trump. It is the lawlessness and anti-police rhetoric promoted by the democrat party. They are the ones stirring the pot and giving tacit support to those meaning harm to the republic.

And if you think it's unrelated then why were there people trying to block access to the emergency room and chanting they hope these two die? Some were even trying to storm the hospital itself.
