For some reason, citizens from EU countries expect to live and work in the UK doing non skilled jobs.
I personally feel any job interview could be conducted over telephone or videophone, and people don't need to come to the UK for a job interview, imo.

Why do citizens from EU countries think they're any different?
We're not in the EU, if you come here looking for work or taking an unskilled job, you will be detained, doesn't matter where you're from; treat the UK like the US in your mind if it helps, you wouldn't roll up to the US and say 'I'm here to work as an au pair' without a visa for work, why are are citizens from countries closer to home thinking they can still work in UK without a visa?

We have a new points based immigration system that applies to everybody, including people with nationalities and citizenship from countries in the EU.

UK's locking up Spaniards like they were Mexicans.

One woman offered to pay for her flight home that day but was refused and taken to a detention centre where she feared for Covid; I believe that fear was two sided as the United Kingdom as policy regards Spain a 'Amber Country' in terms of Covid.
Which means, you set foot here from an Amber Country, you gotta isolate/go into quarantine, for 10 days I believe, UK citizen or not. That rule applies to everybody, and if you come here illegally looking for work, the Home Office do that for you it seems - so let's just hope the Home Office are doing it properly, I don't want no scandals coming out about this.

Have these people committed an offence trying to enter the UK this way either knowingly and unknowingly, and, are they in fear for their lives if they return home? - that's what I feel society has to ask itself with all illegal entries to the UK.
