Uncle Jed here. Barely educated and it will show. My grammer, punctuation, etc. Is atrocious. Nonetheless... I have opinions. I am/was an underachiever but have done alright considering. Pushing 60, retired, put kids through college... the whole nine yards. Live my personal and home life conservatively. Am republican but have never marched in lockstep with'em. Probably republican in name only at this point as I feel MANY republicans at the state and federal level (congress too) are more liberal than they let on or want us to think. The wars, immigration and Obamacare has told on these "republicans". In my opinion, some republicans are put off and angry because they weren't in on instituting something as all encompassing as Obamacare. What better route to take or mechanism to control the masses by government than healthcare. Through the guise of healthcare that is... So... here I am disillusioned and in a sort of limbo politically. Personally... I think there is hell to pay and relatively soon. In one sense we have become what so many of our ancestors ran away from. As the real Uncle Jed would say - "pitiful... just pitiful".
Welcome, Uncle Jed from Back in the Hills. Don't worry about your grammar and punctuation. Won't matter to anyone worth it mattering to. Mine is too and I have a high-priced piece of paper collecting dust on my wall--I blame the computer for misinterpreting my message
Thank you Smevins. My grammer, etc. Is so awful I felt I would forewarn folks here that it is what it is - ha! As for education... I am all for it. Made certain my children got one. High priced for sure!
