TARGET intelligence efforts always spike before an actual attack.

And to think there are posters on here who thought Biden did a great job waiting till South Carolina’s Atlantic coast to shoot things down because the journey between the Pacific/Atlantic/Canada/Montana and everywhere in between is so populated.

LOL they must truly be outraged at how irresponsible our government is endangering so many lives.

Would the CHICOMS be crazy enough to start a nuclear war or are they getting ready to invade Formosa aka Taiwan aka Nationalist China. Open question to anyone.

That is a very complex question. It was just reported that the Chinese now have more ICBM's than we do. That didn't happen by accident. Its part of a plan somehow.
If done properly, a "limited" nuclear war is possible. MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) has deterred nuclear war for 70 years. MAD was conceived in an era when ICBM precision targeting was lacking and the ability to tailor yields, and preclude "militarily significant fallout" was unheard of. "Nuclear War" does not mean unlimited destruction.
I say this as an ex-Commander of a Heavy Artillery, nuclear capable firing battery in Germany in the 1980's and a qualified "Nuclear Fire Planner".
A limited nuclear conflict might be just the thing to keep us focused on the USA while China takes Taiwan.

We have seriously depleted our conventional weapons in the Ukraine. Some of the items like Stingers and Javelins can require very long lead components that cannot be replaced in the short term. And the National Oil Reserves have been hit hard by those sales to China. There's a lot of components to whatever plans china has. And you can bet they have a plan.

Or they determined it wasn't an imminent threat, observed, electronically neutralized it and brought it down in the ocean in our territory to recover as much as they could for further study.
Maybe the "tic-tac" they saw as a more pressing threat.
The other balloon was low enough to be a danger to intercontinental flights.
I wonder if we'll ever know the absolute truth?

I wonder how much the Chinese paid Biden to ensure it got all the way across the country and finished its mission before it was shot down.

    Found this interesting.

    And this one: https://www.history.com/videos/uss-nimitz-tic-tac-ufo-declassified-video

    Coincidence? Advanced technology being developed?

I think the last thing we need to do is make a political football about it and spend the energy on finding out as much as we can. We don't even know who owns the last two, or what their purpose was.
I hope they can find enough of them to determine those things.
The object in the Navy video looked like it could evade anything we got.

Or maybe it's one of our "black projects" that got outta hand/malfunctioned and we had no choice but to shoot it down....using the "cover story" of UAP?

Why? These weren't shot down over populated areas.

I can agree with a lot of your post. I heard some talk that Biden “ gave our reserve oil to China and ( this gets better) the person even claimed that Biden “gave the CHICOMS the ok” to invade Taiwan. Now that is from whacky dacky land. Tell me that you do not believe that Biden gave oil away and gave the ok to invade Taiwan!

He didn't give oil away. He sold it to them. I don't believe he gave a green light for an attack on Taiwan.

Yea, but that video is also from 20 years ago. I think if that was something another country had at that time, we'd already have found out the hard way.

My brother-in-law brags about being the Skipper of the Nimitz. He actually was. He was the Commander in charge of the nuclear propulsion system and he was made the Skipper for a period when it was in dry dock for repairs.

    No duh.

The point was, since we did shoot it down, I was thinking that it was less likely, of non-human origin. But if it had been made, on purpose, to look like one of those UAPs that we have seen, with the physics- defying abilities-- now don't let me lose you, again, sparky-- then its human makers (China, etc.) must have done so, thinking that just the
appearance, alone, would fool us, into assuming that it was another one of these same things, with which we already have had some experience. Therefore, we would not-- would have been the forgerer's hope-- attack it.

Obviously, if that had been the plan, it failed. But what would have made its success so unlikely, would've been the stupidity of trying that plan, right after we had an incident with a Chinese spy balloon. Because we would be less likely to fall for the trick, at that particular moment. You follow my point, now?

No one has anticipated China would be ready to mount a Taiwan invasion for about 4 or 5 years, I think; though, granted, plans can change. An attack on the U.S.-- a nuclear one, no less-- seems not at all likely. It is not readily apparent, how these events would apply to any imminent Chinese action.

Indeed. Goes to show just how dumb the arguments that have been made defending this administration have been huh?

There you go again bringing reason, rational thought, and very likely some truth into the issue. You are in big trouble bud. Mr. Pillow is going to agitate for you to be charge with thinking treasonously. God help us..

Sorry, I'll try to quit doing that.
I submit. We all know it's a secret deal for the US government to allow China to take over using balloons filled with mind numbing agents. The Deep State will then be allowed to exist in luxury and run things while China syphons off enough wealth to take over the world.
    Please forgive my overreaches .................

With the time between the balloon and the following two objects is it likely the two objects were already in the air when the balloon was first spotted?

I would not assume so, but since we know no details about those other vehicles-- not just their manner of propulsion, but their launching points-- it is impossible to say.

So another shot down over Lake Huron. This one was at 20,000 feet.
