Yet another reason Android rules. Beyond awesome. You will never (ever) see Apple allow something like this, and I doubt Microsoft will either.
It does not surprise me that you prefer Apple considering how much you enjoy being told what to do, heh heh. Although it kind of surprises me that you would embrace an American product like Apple.
I embrace many products made all over the world, japense tvs "they really are the best" Scottish speakers, and yes usa iphones. My fav has to be italian coffee. But saying all that, i still dont like android.
Having an Android device (tablet) and a Iphone, I think Apple has a good point. Not nearly as many crappy apps for the iphone as there are for Android.
The reason andriod sucks, let me count the ways. 1. inferiorer tech. 2. sytle, it has not got the looks of apple iphone 3. i was going to say apps That is all.
The HTC Rezound has a larger display, higher resolution, and better pixel density than the iPhone4S...Apple's best product. Explain to me why you think it is still inferior.
Saves me a lot of time if Apple sorts through the crap for me. I don't waste time downloading apps that don't work from Apple. Have done too much of that with Android apps.
So you cannot explain what exactly about Android is "inferior tech". Ok. The iPhone has a crappier display that the HTC Rezound. Therefore the iPhone has inferior tech.
So you tell me...what would be the downside of Apple allowing you to install apps from other sources if you wanted to.
Lazy developers would use the other sources instead of the App store. They know they have to meet certain standards, so they develop to them. Without those standards, they would just pass off crap, like Android developers do. If you don't like it, stick to Android. I decided to try both Apple Ios and Android, and to me, the Apple model seems to work better for consumers. Your results may vary.
If you still have easy access to it, why do you care? Why so defensive? It was just a question. That must be why Jailbreaking is so popular...becuase customers like having Apple make their decisions for them.
That is a great point, first i seen from you. Yes, I enjoy that with apple iphone that it is basic in many ways. I like the simplistiy of it, the minimalistic usasge. Now if want to fiddle with technology, just buy a laptop and punk it.
I got the HTC Rezound. It kicks ass. 720p screen, the best pixel density of any phone right now (it beats Apple's Retina Display), dual core 1.5ghz, kick ass camera, and 16 gigs internal memory (with another 16 gigs on SD...thats expandable to 32), excellent 4G reception and the best GPS I have ever seen on a phone. It comes with a pair of $120 earbuds as well. There are several good phones out right now, but that is probably still the best one IMO.
