    I'm one of those unvaccinated adults. The risk of hospitalisation is ten times higher for adults over age 50.

    You’ll never get a general consensus about the best information/sources as this country is too damn polarized.

    Remember when CDC Nancy Messonier publicly declared that Covid outbreaks in the US. are now inevitable.

    Next day, and in an effort to calm the markets, Trump’s 15 cases going down to zero.

    Well, back then, who had the best information?

    According to the right-wing media, certainly not Messonier, because “She’s a Rosenstein”, and “she’s trying to sabotage Trump’s baby economy”

    The relative risk (RR) is 0.1667, so it's more like 83% effective. Which seems pretty good for something as harmless as the covid vaccine. NNT will depend on the hospitalization rate, but the RR can be calculated from the info you provided with any inputs that follow the rules of 90% vaccinated with 60% of cases, and 10% unvaccinated with 40% of cases.

    WAIT A MINUTE, per capita, Omicron infected more British than Americans, and yet, per capita, near twice as many Americans are dying.

    Very strange indeed.
