Nice try, I for one did not assume the reason they changed their minds was purely political. However, one a lot of horrid things have been done for purely political reasons down through the ages.

Desperation is as likely as anything. The government had been scaring people death about COVID for a year and suddenly the government decides it's all hunky dory so like every good little Democrat or trained seal they dutifully stuck out their arms.

 

Good question, simple answer. The citizens either: don’t care, don’t bother to really educate themselves and just trust “their party”, or can’t do anything because there are too many who TRUST the worthless corrupt career politicians that live like kings and don’t care about the taxpaying citizens of our country.
Fear not politician lovers, your country will soon be invaded by so many illegals your vote truly won’t count and you’ll be stuck with whatever side gives out the most free stuff. Using your tax dollars of course.
