Yes, it is. Lower right hand corner under related stories. http://www.military.com/daily-news/...g-into-n-korea.html?comp=7000023435700&rank=2
It's from the same issue of the periodical which you used as a source. At any rate, it contradicts your original post.
It's in conflict, yes, but we'll have to wait and see what happens, I guess. Now that allegations have been made, it will take more than their word to satisfy a lot of people - myself included.
So what? We're the God (*)(*)(*)(*) world hegemon which gives us the right to do WTF we want and if you don't like it, too (*)(*)(*)(*) bad. North Korea is an enemy nation and if we want to keep an eye on them with some assets, so what? You act like we just launched a D-Day invasion onto the beaches of Pyongyang.
Okay. So if America ever loses her position at #1, you'd agree with the leading hegemony doing military operations in our country, the US' sovereignty be dammed?
To be fair that's not an accurate comparison, although for empathy purposes it could work. It's not like we do special forces operations in countries like Russia and China, who won't be bullied. US will never lose enough power to be bullied like we do to these nations.
You own a crystal ball that tells the future? No? No offends then, but yes, it is a fair comparison. I'm tired of SG's inability to regulate his patriotism and nationalism. It's ridiculous...
It simply would make absolutely no sense at all to parachute troops in to N.Korea. We have satelites and other like assets with the ability to do the observing from a safe distance without raising tensions on the peninsula. We have N.Korea contained, why would we risk the lives of troops to do a job we can do already without risking any lives at all?
