Do you know how I know who a REAL whistleblower is? When they are treated like Julian Assange or Edward Snowden. To call this POS corrupt bureaucrat a whistleblower is an insult to people who sacrificed everything to tell the American people the truth about the scum that hold the reins of power in America. Look at the penalty they paid for telling the truth, and the lack of penalty the absolute turds they outed paid. Those two men did more to destroy my faith in my government than any other two people on the planet.

Who cares? He is a no body that accomplished nothing. As if this somehow takes away from the many wins brought about by the Trump administration, especially when compared to this administration lol.

whistleblower? Ha, he did no such thing. Whistleblower...lol. That’s a good one. Imagine.

You didn't mention McCabe, but that's who I assumed it was from the thread title.

Good... of 4 years of sleazy personal ****, that was one of the most ridiculously obvious...

He's still a relatively young man... I hope he's cashing in in the private sector now....

I don't think McCabe will go down as a whistleblower.... not sure where that's coming from....

If you aren't sure how he was "fired", read this...

    https://www.citizensforethics.org/r...i-documents-new-details-firing-andrew-mccabe/

Couldn't be more obviously a personal retaliation if they chiseled it into the Washington Monument...

A serious injustice that has just been repaired.

Another proof that Trump has no respect for the integrity of anyone who criticizes him or displeases him.

That's the whole issue. Trump could get away with this kind of childishness in his private companies and just couldn't accept he didn't have that carte blanche as an elected government official. He wanted to use the country's purse strings as his personal bank and destroy people's careers just because he didn't like them or they would repeat his lies. Sidney Powell is going to be disbarred soon. Giuliani is next. It's very smart for people to NOT repeat Trump's lies. It's very smart for people to NOT storm the Capitol on his behalf. Why would any sane person want to be anywhere near him?

If his whole presidency is not made into a case study for law students to examine the rules of at-will employment, I don't know what better case qualifies. To this day, he is STILL acting like all the governmental agencies and people should bend to his beck and call and he's having constant meltdowns because they won't budge to his tantrums. There has been no less qualified, capable, or irrational person elected to head of state anywhere on this planet. He was a mistake from beginning to end (and we're all having to accept that it's never going to end with him because he's a lunatic). He's probably planning to figure out how to become a ghost after he dies so he can pace the halls of the White House for eternity making claims about widespread election fraud and holding a tin cup asking for donations. If anybody had doubts if he was a loser before November 3, 2020, that question has been answered a million times since.

He's F-ing criminal. That's par for the course for every Democrat. They excuse racism, criminality, and anti-American democracy acts.

Was trying to compose a list of people treated shabbily (a kind word, I assure you) during the recent blip in world history known as the T**** administration. So many are flying through my head after McCabe, but here are a few who are due either financial compensation, additional work opportunities in the government (should they desire that) or simple reputation rehabilitation (or all three in some cases)

    Alex Vindman
    Marie Yovanovitch
    Pete Strzok
    Anthony Fauci
    BJ Pak
    Sally Yates
    Preet Bharara
    Christine Ford

I'm sure there are hundreds of others...

People who chased their own ghost in an investigation and then proceeded to lie about it(and then cover up said lie), shouldn't receive public funds but what does it honestly matter? A government that tolerates that, will tolerate anything. The American Government is simply inept. In the infamous words of Thomas Paine: To love my country is to criticize the government.

Since I have ZERO idea what that means, I cannot tie that nonsense back to a specific person I mentioned....

    I assume you cannot either..

Not sure where that leaves us...

More people will be vindicated one way or the other in the coming 3-7 years...

    ahhh

"was fired in March 2018 after the Justice Department’s inspector general concluded he had authorized the release of information to a newspaper reporter and then misled internal investigators about his role in the leak. "

That's a firing offense. He was not a "whistleblower" he was part of the phony Russian collusion scheme.

He's neither... he's a guy who did his job and ALMOST caught the primary real bad guy, even up against insufficient laws and zero political will...

Retire in peace, Sir... Or do something else... write a book.... entirely your call....

He is up to his eyeballs in the phony Russia collusion scheme and that is under investigation by the Special Prosecutor. Who did he almost catch and for what specific crime?

Better yet, why don't you tell me who and what he's under investigation for and for what specific actions?

OMG... is that a John Durham reference?? The guy who has single handedly shut down absolutely nothing in the past 2.5 years???

Durham is after McCabe?? For what?? Putting 2 dimes and a nickel in a parking meter that requires a quarter??

I can, we both know exactly what I'm referring to. The FBI promised us a manufactured conspiracy theory, one that came directly from the Clinton Campaign. Through their needless, waste of an investigation we found nothing of substance(key word: substance. Identity theft for instance, can be individually prosecuted without the 'investigation') and wasted a **** load of time, money and resources.

In the end, owing to "protect sources and methods" they ended up dropping their case altogether! If anyone wants to talk about Big Lies, the one that started all of the others, was the conspiracy theory.

Sorry, I read some of Volume 1 of the Mueller report (all of volume 2) and much of the GOP-led Senate report on the 2016 election.. That campaign was so full of Russian connection slime, it will take decades for all of the full stories to come out, but those 2 were a solid start... In a country led by Patriots, that person should NEVER have been ALLOWED a second bite at the POTUS apple, but fortunately, the American people connected the dots anyway...

That's the problem, should've read all of volume one(I read through most of volume two, before being pissed that everything was leaked, despite then special counsel Mueller promising us that it wouldn't in fact be leaked.). Through all of the various connections, meetings, etc(like that meme where the dude draws all over a map), the Mueller team could not conclusively prove any nefarious conspiracy existed or was even attempted.

It was/is embarrassing. We do not investigate "who knows who", A predicate for an investigation is based on the idea of the probability(or suspicion) of a crime. Not the "guess" of a crime.

Just think, all that time that was wasted, and the Florida shooting that would happen later could've been prevented with man forces on the ground here in the US or something.

The dude was a felonious leaker, not a whistleblower.

His ass should have been put in prison. There is two sets of rules and he is on the Elite / Establishment side.

McCabe was a text book "witch hunt". He should sue Trump for defamation (not sure he can but he should be able to).

Some are patriots that fell on their swords' and all are principled individuals. All put country before partisan politics.
