Hello! My name is Klim, im from Russia. Empire of evil, country of bear and vodka -- its names of Russia in USA. Cold war is over, but American people still hate my country. Why? One of my friend (when we was in gym class) sad that USA people loves Rambo and Rocky 4. We love it too! But not because USSR was beaten in this films -- we love it because Stallone was young. I spend 3 hours to make a list of reasons to love Russia. It addressed to USA. I hope this video will be next (little) step to triumph of friendship! And now i spend extra 30 min to find how to add video to post, and i cant find anything about it - so i only can give a link [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_dilo-9ib8"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_dilo-9ib8[/ame]
Why talk to the Monkeys when you can talk to the Organ Grinders -- The British ? Ukrainian Women are lots better looking and natural , and young women from Moscow and St Petersburg increasingly look like Barbie Dolls . We don't want your Oil and Gas . You cannot be trusted . Good Bye .
I don't think Russia and America are on a collision course. I think what happened to the Soviet Union will happen to America. There are simply no reasons for conflict between our countries. We wish you well.
Klim, Your idea that America hates Russia is totally and utterly incorrect. I realize it's been promoted by your government and state-run media but it's just not true. Americans don't hate Russia. And Americans certainly don't hate the Russian people. If anything, they just don't care too much about your country, they don't talk about Russia and they are not concerned about Russia any more than they talk or are concerned about Ivory Coast or Chili. To Americans Russia is just one country out of 200 on the map. If you were to come to any place in the US you'd be treated with respect and courtesy, people would be more than happy to help you in any way possible, you would be treated just as nicely and graciously as a visitor from England, Australia, Iran, China or Vietnam. 99% of the american people have absolutely no ill will against Russia or the Russian people even if/when they disagree with the policies of the Russian government. PS Your attempt to build bridges is admirable indeed but your assumption is wrong. PS2 Amerians don't like the French , they like everyone else.
Nobody likes the French . In an EU vote about EU countries , they were placed last as least friendly by a huge margin .
Absolutely right . But there are many ways to skin a cat . And now we use our brains and cunning to punch considerably above our weight . Plus , we are smart enough to let the Americans believe we are their "best friends" -- an early example of Spread betting . However , and having said all that , I was not expecting you take it 100% seriously . I like to think we can make semi-serious remarks which have at least a piece of truth in them . I will give you an example . If in my dream world I was invading Russia , I know my forces would never lose . I simply would let Russia " find out" that we were spearheading our effort from Latvia and Estonia and using St Petersburg as our base for offence . Russians can only take matters literally , whereas I would enter from Georgia and the Caucasus , pick up the The Emirate of the Caucasus fighters and advance through the Krasnodar oblast picking up Muslims along the way and move north up the Volga , tearing your industrial strengths to pieces . 1-0 to the British .
You really can't judge a book by its cover,as the saying goes. I've met British,Russian and French people in the past and I got to say, they were all very nice. I guess every country has there fair share of D-bags,it just all depends who you meet first that shapes your opinion about a people. Just my 2 cents.
Hello Klim. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Russia isn't hated by the vast majority of Americans. I personally don't know anyone who hates Russia or her people. I've known quite a few Russians and still have quite a few friends from Russia. I can honestly say I've never met one I didn't like. I hear Russia is a beautiful place and I hope I have the chance to visit there some day. Don't give in to the hype and propaganda that America hates Russia. It isn't true in any meaningful way. There will always be haters, but who cares about haters? They make themselves meaningless and worthless with their hate.
She left Russia for Florida aged 10 and now is more American than most Americans !! A different type and lovely when dolled up is my Athletics Queen , Yelena Isinbayeva . Greatest female vaulter ever, who hopefully is on the come back trail after a long time out .
I've seen her in glamor pics and find she is not anywhere as glamorous as Anna the K. In fact, she looks kinda awkward in such attire. However, she is naturally beautiful and, to me, looks best in plain garments: Looking kinda too wide eyed and awkward in this glamor shot: To me, old fashion as I am, natural beauty is best.
She has just read my letter and is thinking how lucky she might be . I told her to watch out for Holly Bleasdale , the young inexperienced Champion from Team GB . Not ready to dethrone Queen Yelena but could take a bronze if she can conquer her nerves .A future Champion .
I well remember how track & field (what you call ''athletics") used to be incredibly popular in the USA. During the Olympics it would be the first thing everyone turned to on TV. Trackers like Wilma Rudolph, Jim Ryun, Willie Davenport, Al Oerter, Bill Toomey, Rafer Johnson, Jim Hines were all household names. Unfortunately, many colleges have closed down their programs due to funding concerns and the sport has declined. Be nice if this great sport could reach the same heights in the States that it once enjoyed. As for Holly Bleasdale, she's a good looking gal, too. But watch for our Jenn Suhr ~ good looks & great athletic talent! http://www.usatf.org/Athlete-Bios/Jenn-(Stuczynksi)-Suhr.aspx
Which part of France . This sounds amazing news . Are sure you had not mistakenly strayed over a border?
Agree .You would think Jenn is the most likely to hustle Yelena . I can't wait for the Olympics to start . We have thrown a lot of money at Athletics and Swimming the last few years . I expect our women swimmers to be second or third in the world -- after the USA , but I would't like to forecast Track and Field . It may be two or three years too early for a huge raft of great talent we have coming through . But as long as security is good , I am happy just to watch the best giving us their best . Secret .I was at Rome in 1960 .
All I know is that he lives in the southern part of France, sorry, forget the name of the village! But he's engaged to my S.I.L.,met him awhile back,we have alot in common actually. The British couple I met at the inlaws house. He's a friend of my F.I.L.,they both work at a major oil company. They were in the states for Thanksgiving with his mother. Very nice people. Also there were an Indian couple and a family from Turkey. I swear we almost had every continent represented that day! Very good day indeed. The Russian guy I met was at basic training for the Army,of all places!
I was just pulling your leg , but thanks for the nice family picture . You are right of course . I also have heard the rumour that there are a few decent Garlic Eaters left in the villages . But be careful in Paris . Nasty .
Another reason to love Russia ~ they are the world's best at Synchronized Swimming: Anastasia Davydova and Anastasia Ermakova
