Psychological Projection, anyone?

 

Well, it's totally true there is a WHOLE LOT of psychological projection on the Progression Left, BUT, this is one particular area where this does not clearly apply.

Conservatives and those on the Right just have an attitude to be likely to jump into a war. It's always been that way. This is not always a bad thing, it can be a good thing in some situations.

But, making it more complicated, this conflict with Russia is bizarre. It's almost like the Left, or maybe we should say a faction of those who side with Progressives, are more gung ho about it than conservatives. Is it because, behind the scenes, they view Russia as "The Right" (their worldwide enemy)? It was kind of the same thing in Bosnia with the war against Serbia. Not many Americans remember that, 1992 to 1995.

And more bizarre (maybe another long discussion for another thread), every member on this forum who wanted to see Julian Assange hanged was a Trump-hater. Usually Assange haters were typically associated with Pro-War, and Trump-haters are associated with the Progressive Left. Interesting isn't it?

Nevertheless, back to what we were talking about at that beginning, I think you have a valid point about materialism and war. There may be a connection.

Going back to Karl Marx, dialectical materialism was at the center of his theory.

There is a double standard legality wise in America, when it comes to Politicians especially.

If the Democrat Politicians get caught doing something illegal, because they own most of the media in America, they can simply brainwash people into thinking that it was absolutely nothing, and then they simply sweet it under the rug, and move on, and act like nothing happened!

If Republicans were actually colluding with Russia, there would be many Republican Politicians fired, and in jail, but since the Democrat Politicians, nothing will happen to them. That is the double standard. They get away with almost anything, and it's sick!

 

They only fan the flames of Anarchism until they have cemented control. After that, it looks like Communist China. At that time they will stamp any of that Anarchism out with unmerciful force. Also notice (in China and the former Soviet Union) how patriotic they drive the society to be after their own Party takes complete control. But before then, everything about the nation, culture and history were "evil". The Soviets even had to change the name of their police because all their socialist propaganda from before had demonized the police so much. Such an irony that "the instrument of capitalist oppression" just became something even more oppressive.

I was around during the Vietnam War. That war was waged by a Democratic Party president, Lyndon B Johnson.

He talked about 'stepping up the war in Vietnam'.

That was it. Killing more people was just 'stepping up the war'.

Nor does anyone care it seems.
