Because if Jesus does not exist there is nothing to judge. If he does exist, you have to prove the bible is an accurate record because if it isn't then you aren't judging him based on what he said or did but based on a fiction. There is no point in debating the politics of FICTIONAL characters. Now you CAN debate the politics of the authors of scripture to the extent that you think they have created these fictional characters as role models of proper thinking and action. You can also conclude that the authors are wrong in their politics. Is that even a question people are willing to ask?
This is true. It is also true that these commandments are a fiction. They are said to be written by God but at present no evidence for God exists. We are left with the fact that HUMANS made these commandments. Why would they do that?
Christ would not have been a Republican of today, because he was a free-thinker, he didn't want to form a new religion. He wanted to get people to think more openly xcept the facets of the times he was alive.
Fighting for "liberty" what a joke of a platitude that is. Foreign policy stopped being about liberty a long time ago - it is based on economic agenda. We turned Iraq into a Jihadist wonderland... the opposite liberty. In Syria we fought against liberty ... arming and supporting Al Qaeda and ISIS in a proxy war. The people fighting for Assad were fighting for liberty.
Of course that is absurd and completely stupid since we didn’t profit one penny from the war in Iraq in fact lost billions on it. It was a jihadist paradise for a while under Obama but under Bush and Trump surprise it was or is a decent country
Regardless of how bad Assad was .. the Islamist extremist rebels were far worse. If this was not the case Assad would have been toppled. The People fight for Assad.
Don't assume you know what happened in Syria.. Timelines are helpful with staying on point when propaganda is flying. The people hated Assad.. and his elections were/are a sham for very specific reasons. https://www.politico.com/story/2017/04/timeline-united-states-response-syria-civil-war-237011
I know what happened in Syria and am aware of the timeline. I have always claimed that the people of Syria did not like Assad. This does not change the fact that they hated the rebels even more. The inferred claim in the link that the peaceful protest movement led to civil war is abject nonsense (not surprising given the source). What is irritating is that I have given you credible links describing the situation prior to armed insurgency breaking out previously. Such as this one. https://www.christianpost.com/news/...om-anti-government-protestors-in-syria-50104/ Now rather than ignore links that conflict with your koolaid inspired narrative like you normally do ... address the claims in this link.
Once again you avoid responding to the link provided- and deflect. The rebels were Islamist extremists - countrymen or not. The people of Syria fighting for Assad do not like Assad much by they hate the extremists far more.
When Assad began killing Sunnis wholesale, the rebels became non partisan. https://www.politico.com/story/2017/04/timeline-united-states-response-syria-civil-war-237011
Why did you post this link when it does not support your claim ? - and completely ignore the link which does in fact support my claim. 50% of Assads regular army is Sunni. You are talking nonsense.
