The Washington Post did something unprecedented in their history as a newspaper. They ran a full page editorial on Donald Trump as a presidential candidate and explain their position.

In my opinion, I think they are spot on, the man has no respect for others, he's a crook and if elected the country would be further divided. Bring back the republican party of 50 years ago.

 

Yes, the editorial summarizes what we all know. Donald Trump's election would be a disaster for American democracy. When I write "we all know," I'm including many people who are going to vote for Donald Trump. Many of them know that by voting for Donald Trump, they are voting against our democratic form of government, and that is exactly their aim. They want to destroy it by electing an authoritarian ruler. Fewer and fewer people believe in democracy these days.

Here in Maricopa County, Arizona (greater Phoenix area), we have a psychopath sheriff who has been winning re-election for decades. His name is Joe Arpaio, and he spoke in Trump's favor at the Republican Convention. Joe Arpaio is supposed to enforce the law, but in truth he has no respect for it. He has violated the US Constitution, and he has thumbed his nose at the courts that have called him out on it.

I'm afraid Donald Trump would act the same way. He is a potential dictator who shows no respect for the courts or Congress (OK, a lot of us don't respect Congress these days). I can picture him doing everything by executive order and refusing to back off when the courts find his actions illegal.

Someone is sure to respond that Barack Obama has used executive action quite a bit, also, but President Obama has respect for the courts. When Congress has challenged him before the Supreme Court, and the Court has ruled against him, he has accepted the Court's decision and obeyed it. From Donald Trump's utterances, it seems obvious that he would not obey the Court, just like our psychopath sheriff.

I understand the frustration of many members of the middle and working classes. As a result of government policies, more and more money is going to the super rich, and there is less for the rest of us. However, Donald Trump is not going to shoot himself in the foot by reversing the very policies that have made him very rich.

If you want to destroy our democratic form of government, vote for Donald Trump. Otherwise, vote against him. None of the other three candidates presents a threat to our democracy. Donald Trump does.

If you oppose Donald Trump, please vote. His rabid followers will all show up at the polls to support him. You should show up and vote against them. Low voter turnout among sensible people is the one thing that could make Donald Trump president.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio took an oath of office and in that oath is to defend the Constitution. Sheriff Arpaio is one of those law enforcement officers who upholds the oath of office he took and enforces the federal laws that the federal government refuses to enforce.

Now what about Barack Obama's oath of office he took three times ? Why is he exempt from upholding the oath of office ? Why ?

After 4 years in the U.S. Army and 25 years in federal law enforcement Sheriff Arpaio was elected as Sheriff of Maricopa County in 1992 and has been reelected five times. Seems like the U.S. citizens of Maricopa County see things diffetrently than the non citizens and illegal aliens of Maricopa County.

I hear the radical left activist are in the process of registering every anchor baby, gang member, drug addict and illegal alien hoping to defeat America's toughest and best Sheriff in America this year.

If Sheriff Arpaio is defeated and Trump wins, guess who's going to be put in charge of ICE ??? Sheriff Joe is on the "A" list.

 

The entire planet is worried that there might be just enough fear and hate filled fools to put this defective bully in the White House.

Thankfully, this appears very unlikely. But no one with a brain is willing to bet the future of democracy in America, or an established world order that has served us well for 75 years at risk by handing it over to a vulgar buffoon.

 

Can you explain to me then why he has already been convicted on civil charges and faces possible criminal charges? We'll probably know within the week if the judge recommends criminal prosecution. You do know that he stands a good chance of ending up in jail, don't you? What a great law-enforcement officer!

The Washington Post has never endorsed a Republican for President but say they aren't bias. The Post even endorsed Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama for a second term.

In the editorial the Post played the Nazi card.

What the Post is really scared of are the same thing the rich elitist, Wall Street, multinational owned corporations, the Trilateral Commission, the Washington establishment and cartels and the worlds globalist leaders are scared of, that Trump might actually make America great again by bringing back America's industrial base and American jobs. That's a threat to the New World Order and globalization.

The Washington Post has been one of the biggest supporters of globalization and the New World Order going back to the late 1970's.

What the Washington Post editorial really was an endorsement for a liar and a criminal who has cankles, Hillary Clinton. Four more years of corruption, open borders and terrorist attacks on American soil.

The big question here is this: Is what the newspaper claims true or can you debunk all of it?

 

Yet the counter being presented by the Democratic Party (and now we know they even before the primaries and selected her and worked behind the scene with their Watergate/CREEP like acts to prohibit any opposition) is the ONLY choice one has if Trump is not already winning your state. By that I mean I'm not voting for him because my state will overwhelming select Trump for our electoral votes. Were it close I would have to vote for Trump.

I don't know what is so hard to understand. we simply CANNOT allow Hillary Clinton to be in charge of our national security, we CANNOT allow her to be involved in our nations most secret business, we CANNOT allow her to be in charge of the entire executive branch trough which she and her husband can further inrich themselves on the backs of the poor including those their charity claims to help when in fact it is a front for them to enrich themselves, their corrupt friends and they daughter.

The can never again be given the public trust. At least had no fear Trump will endanger our national security and the secrets that must be kept nor use the government to personally enrich himself.

 

You should do some research. The first criminal investigation of Joe Arpaio was conducted by the Bush administration. For some reason that he refused to explained, Eric Holder dropped it. Contrary to what you imply, Joe Arpaio seems to have some more clout with the Obama administration than he had with Bush.

The plaintiffs in the case that may result in criminal charges are not the Justice Department but rather the American Civil Liberties Union and Covington & Burling. With some judicious Googling before you start typing, you could get your facts straight and not make so many easily disprovable statements.

I've noticed that you often type things that are completely contrary to the facts, and therefore I normally, I have you in ignore. However, for some silly reason, I decided to check out your last two posts. I will not make that mistake in the future.

It is amazing how many things Hillary was against before she was for after a little (like millions) infusion of cash to the Clinton foundation (millions from foreign governments and investors) and exorbitant speaking fees (which went into the Clinton pockets). The Clintons have helped enrich oligarchs over the little people. Haiti, Africa, the company Ericsson, the Keystone pipeline, and Russia with the most blatant pay for play scheme giving Russia control of 20% of US uranium. The Clintons have sold out liberals to line their own pockets. You couldn't have a worse candidate.
