Seriously you want to create more jobs just make time and a half wages based on all hours over 20 hours of employment, your could exclude the military and vital public services but since employers would not put people on over that amount unless they had to, they would then be forced to hire alot more people.

You could adjust that say 24 hours a week, three 8 hour shifts or two twelve hour shifts a week.

And employers would be free to employ people over that just would need to pay them more.

And people might have two jobs out of this if they are eager to work but overall it should create lots of jobs.

I also have an add-on for those in two year or longer contracts they are excluded from the hours worked but it will be based on the terms in the contract so a soldier is under a contract and so would others, this would encourage giving these to workers you like over an hourly wage.

Your suggesting that you can reduce unemployment by cutting everyone's income in half?

Part of the problem is that many employers don't want to hire workers full-time, because that often means they have to provide benefits or higher pay.
This isn't just in the private sector. Many American public universities are doing it.

But when one is employed only part time in one job, it is often difficult to get another part time job that does not have conflicting work times.
