    Long overdue. Should increase the effectiveness of the NRA as a civil rights defending organization. That’s my hope.

    He did a lot to protect our civil liberties in the years before the Supreme Court started upholding the Second Amendment.

    The country would be a much worse place today if it hadn’t been for him.

    there were lots of people responsible for the NRA being the champion of the second amendment-it started in my home town in 1977 or so IIRC
