We should replace prison with neuroleptics and therapy

    We should replace prison with neuroleptics and therapy. Prisons are:

    1. Expensive

    2. Remove criminals from society, which prevents them from being productive

    3. Causes them to become even more hardened and better at crime

    Instead of imprisoning them, we should put them on 5 mg/day of haloperidol and 2 mg/day of lorazepam, and order them to mandatory psychoanalysis. The combination of haloperidol and lorazepam is extremely useful in treating agitation and aggression, and will also make them less likely to form criminal thoughts. If criminal thoughts can't form, criminal behavior cannot happen. Also, the psychoanalysis will help the criminal understand themselves and why they make the choices they do, which will help them make progress.
