Actually, Uber published 6 things that will get you kicked out of an Uber car in a Mens Journal story I pointed to earlier - they include abusive language, drinking, flashing a gun, threats, and littering. Those are Uber's rules - so yes, you CAN get kicked out of an Uber car in the middle of a ride according to the Uber contract with it's drivers and the rules YOU agree to
when you book their car (it's in the fine print).

The driver is flying under Uber's colors, where the baker was the actual business owner. Both are stupid for using their businesses to push their beliefs.

 

Hence why the Uber driver could face charges.

 

So staying the literal facts is spin now? Uber (and other ride-sharing) drivers are owner-operator taxi services using an app to find fares. This is a taxi driver not likeing his fare and dropping them off early. Said fare was free to leave a negative review, get their money back and call for another ride.

Sir he dumped them off at a gas station on the side of the interstate! That's not safe. Purely for political reasons? The refusal of service is for common sense crap like.. If the passenger is drunk or belligerent or something logical. Ffs get it together. He will be fired of course and quickly. If not Uber will face a boycott by alot of people

 

I'd say this one is very different.

But the cake thing is pretty much the same as the #WalkAway guy in the electronics store or whatever it is, so not gonna say Republicans don't do it.

You cannot discriminate people based on their ideals, just like you can't their color. Seems a lot of Leftists don't agree with that statement, which is scary.

 

The scary thing about this is the narrative that "speech can be violence/hate".

Because if we spread that culture to legislation, you will be able to claim that you were "verbally attacked" for basically anything that the laws have claimed as hate speech.

Until you hear the side of the driver’s side of the story, you really can’t know what went on. Were the Republicans verbally abusive? Were they drunk?

Hey, I'm not AGREEING with what the driver did. I'm just saying it's not illegal or against Uber policy nor is it a breach of social norms. Since when do cabbies have a reputation for niceness?!

 

And people can refuse service to gay customers. Right to refuse service is what you guys wanted. These are the consequences. And democrats have been refused service too.

I would not have left the car and called the the police and then did evrything in my power to crush his business.

Some people nowadays are stuck so much in their "be nice" mentality, that they do not know how to win anymore. An "Uber-driver" just as most taxi drivers is very low on teh food chain. Such working drones need a short leash.

I had a similar situation at the train station when i wanted to buy a ticket at the desk. I stand in line and when i was next, she told me that she makes lunch break now and asked me to walk to the other line next.

I politely told her that she wont do a break now and will sell me the ticket i want or otherwise i will ruin her week. I pulled my mobiel out and started to vote the ervice number and looked at her name plate.

It worked wonders.

Thats how you have to deal with low class jobs.
