Were African-Americans Better off as Slaves?

Slavery had a disastrous impact on African-American families, yet sadly a child born into slavery in 1860 was more likely to be raised by his mother and father in a two-parent household than was an African-American baby born after the election of the USA's first African-American President.

A child of slavery was more likely to be raised by his mother and father? Could you post the data behind that statement? No of course not.

But lets just say the statement pulled out of your tush was in fact true. If you had the choice between being a slave raised by its slave mother and father and subject to any and all of its master's whims, and being a free child of a free single parent house hold, what would you choose? I am sure you would give up all of your rights as a human being to have a two parent household.

 

yeah.. I'd say it isn't worth growing up in a two parent household if you have to be a slave..

 

Their slavery now is worse for them than the first slaery. The first slavery they were sold into slavery by their own people and they were slaves unwillingly but acquiescent. They've allowed themselves to be sold into slavery to the democrat prty by their own people but this time willingly and with their acquiescence.

They earned their freedom and gave it up again in no time at all. And they didn't even get their 40 acres and a mule. They got falling down high rises in a bad part of town, rampant drug use, prosititution, out of wedlock babies and abortions. amd they keep doing the same thing over and over.

They still practice slavery in africa...but no one wants to talk about THAT.

If they hadn't been brought here they'd still be living in the stone age in africa instead of living like this in a white country using inventions by the white man.

Importing subhumans as slaves was the worst thing this country ever did.
Imagine how clean and safe the cities would be..imagine how good the schools would be and how empty the prisons would be...imagine how prosperous this country would be without the drag negroes cause on the system. Imagine how many white people wouldn't have been murdered, raped, robbed by negroes...

We should have picked our own cotton.
