    Sorry. I know I listened to late night CoastToCoast AM sometimes and a host had that and quit because of it. His name was Eon Pennat of course I have no idea how to spell it so I just wrote out how it sounds.

    This one was funny in the 70s. Seems it was popular with the free ' love ' types. Not the song but the ' dose'.haha

    Glad you listened. My immortal has some amazing lyrics. Amy Lee, the singer, has a wonderful voice.
    The Feel Good song was just something upbeat and I have no clue what the lyrics are. It makes me tap my toes.
    Bush is about him losing his mind over a breakup because he loved in a way that made her/him the reason for his happiness and his existence. We know that isn't healthy and it will make you lose your mind when it falls apart because someone feels smothered, overwhelmed and incapable of living up to the standards they feel were put upon them.

    Thank you for the lyrics I'll listen to them again sometime when I can relax and not be posting and doing work too. I hope you understand that so many things have changed and not all for the good that I just feel safer with what few things remain the same like older music.

    You didn't hurt my feelings. I didn't feel obligated to explain. I wanted to tell you. You didn't force me to stop posting. I didn't force you to listen to them. It's all good. You'll have to post more that you like so I understand better. I do, but there is a bunch of stuff behind those feelings that would be interesting to know. Not that I'm taking names or notes. I just think folks are interesting.

    I understood. :smile: And I do like newer music if it suits me.:cool:.
    I like all kinds of music some really old. My mother use to play the piano and she played everything from Strauss to Jerry lee Lewis and Hank Sr.,Johnny Mathis. So I grew up liking all kinds of music. And of course classic rock.
    My husband likes all kinds too. He is not political at all though o_O,he leave that to me.
    I think two of the greatest song writers were Rogers and Hammerstien so of course I like lots of soundtracks. Also Bob Dylan,Bee Gees,Kenny Logins ,etc,.

    I like to travel and this is one of my favorite songs. Of course we settled doiwn 20 years ago so I'm now and old homebody. That and Don't Fence me In mama use to sing and play.

    There is really new stuff that is not what I care to hear. Even some of the classic style rock has been distorted so that the catch is at the beginning, rather than after a few lyrics. Only a few writers are employed for most of the songs out there. Most musicians not longer write their own music and lyrics. Here is a good tune, but also and example of how the catch and I use that term because my wayback machine isn't woking and I can't remember the word I'd like to use.
