Forget for a moment about where he stands on issues, forget about his statements in recent debates, forget about his revealing 60 Minutes interview the other night. What does your intuition tell you about Trump?

Myself, I acknowledge that he might be the exact guy for the job at the moment, but something seems off. Something within, in spite of info available for me to analyze, tells me that this guy should not be the next POTUS.

    How about yourself?

Im a Nationalist and Trump is using Nationalist rhetoric and singing a Nationalist tune.

"By any means necessary, nation and its people first."

You're damn right i like him. Seriously, we already lost our country. Trump can either give it back to us or he doesnt. But if he doesnt we havent lost anything because, again, we already lost our country.

Its really a no brainer bro.

Trump is an egotistical ass with little or no understanding of the issues facing this country. That being said, he is a gigantic thorn in the establishments ass, and that tells me he has not been purchased by the corptacratacy of fascists who run this craphole.
I think the public despite being predominantly double digit IQ'd simpletons somehow sense this and are not going to blindly vote for another Clinton or Bush and feel that they need someone from outside the beltway to shake up the status quo, and it appears as if Trump would certainly do that.

It shows me how extremely gullible a huge swath of the American public truly is, and should he by some weird alignment of the stars become president, it will be the Dawn of Idiocracy.

We'll, today for example, he gave himself away. His tax plan is going to do exactly the opposite of what he claims it's going to do. Instead of taxing the wealthy like he said, he's giving them a tax cut. That policy has been dead in the water for years now, because it never worked. Going back to the same failed policies is never going to fly as an election pitch. And that will certainly drown him if he gets the Republican nomination.

He is a Con and Grifter. He is completely unfit both intellectually and temperamentally to be President.

In my opinion, Donald Trump is by FAR! the best Republican candidate running for President, he seems to have some new Ideas and maybe that is what this country needs, because if any of those other GOP candidates gets elected, it will just be more of the same ol Politics as usual.

My "Gut" tells me that Trump would be very bad for our country at a time when we need someone adapt at foreign affairs, that he would reverse much of the progress made in recovery from near depression, and now it seems also increase deficit spending rather than continue to chip away at it.

Fortunately...he will not be our President.

Trump is a liberal. He's doing a good job trolling all the cons though.

You feel uneasy about Trump. So do I, even though I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Right-wing economic Conservative. Here's one example of why I'm uneasy about him....

He rolls out a tax plan that purports to relieve the income tax burden on low income people, and heavily tax the rich, right? A real "Robin Hood" approach, right? BUT -- although he lightly mentioned that he would close some loopholes in the U. S. Tax Code, he didn't say he would close ALL the loopholes, and get rid of ALL the tax shelters, end ALL the exclusions and exemptions, and REQUIRE that all American companies promptly and fully pay tax on income earned in their holdings in foreign countries.

Oh, and I haven't heard Trump say anything about making the big-rich pay FICA taxes on an uncapped basis. Right now, if you make over about $110K/year, your FICA taxes are capped! What the hell's up with that?!

As long as there is any "wiggle-room" in the Tax Code, the über-wealthy will hire tax attorneys and tax accountants to make certain that, regardless of what tax bracket they fall in, they'll really go on paying little if anything in taxes at all!

My gut tells me the same thing my brain does. That Trump is a populist without any true political principles, and that he would be a disastrous POTUS. My gut says that he is working hard for Hillary to win--he claimed in the recent past that his business does better with democrats in power.

Donald Trump, is and always has been a con man.

He cares about himself, his celebrity and his money.

And he will say anything to anyone to get what he wants. He does not care one bit about you, America, any of the issues he's ranting about or anything other than his own celebrity.

To him, it's all a joke, and the joke's on his supporters, Fox Noise and the GOP.

My gut is telling me not to trust what he says. No idea why and I am not a follower, fan or hater of Trump in any way. I just haven't ever really cared about him, but his words and popularity have gotten my attention. I just get this deep down feeling he's not what he appears to be and I had that same gut feeling about Romney. When the hairs on my neck stand up when someone talks, I listen to my body. Something just smells wrong with it and it has nothing to do with right/left politics, but rather with his character of which I know little. He just feels "wrong" if I listen to my instincts even though many things he has said I agree with. I just wonder how true he is, or would be, to his words.

lol. I hate to burst your bubble, but Trump IS America at its finest. He's a builder. He's an employer. He's a tax payer.

He's exactly what we need. He, more than anyone else in the running, understands the issues facing America.

Hon, we already had that. It was in 2008. Sorry you missed it.

He's a lying populist. He bases his "policies" (read: soundbites with no real plan) on whatever the majority is in poll results with no concern for whether he can actually deliver on his promises and whether they are good for the country to begin with. He also is deliberately trying to appeal to the worst aspects of jingoism and nativism.

If Trump does indeed represent America at its finest we are a failed society with little hope of recovery.

True, that, but Trump isn't now, never has been, and never will be the reason why.

Trump is wildly successful. And you?
