    What is the gospel?

I brought this question up (sort-of) some time back, but this time instead of asking what did Jesus preached, I am posting my thoughts on what the gospel is based on what is revealed in the Bible about it.

    The gospel

So what did Jesus preached about.....what was His message? The kingdom......His message was about the kingdom of God. He never preached about Himself.....He never preached Calvary. For almost three and a half years He never told His disciples that He came to die for mankind. But His message was hidden in from majority of those He preached it to.......He hid His message by cloaking it with parables. Why? Because He never wanted them to understand it and accept God's invitation into His kingdom. It was not the right time for them to understand it. Contrary to what a lot of Christians believe, God is not calling everyone to repentance during their lifetime.....if more Christians would only study all the scriptures in the Bible they would know that. Even His disciples did not understand the parables until He explained it to them in private.

The gospel is the most important message that any human being could ever hear......the gospel or good news of the kingdom of God is about yours and my destiny...it is for all of us.......it’s about the reason God made human beings, and why the Word(Jesus) had to become a human being. And what is man's destiny? To rule with God over His entire creation...you and I were born to rule…..even angels will be under man's subjection. The Bible tells us that when Jesus returns the saints will be glorified or raised from the dead, if dead and will rule with Jesus on the Earth over all the Nations. It describes a times of peace and prosperity for all Nations and people that has never been possible before under the current system that we have today. It is stated that Jesus and the saints will rule for a thousand years.......a thousand years of peace, prosperity and no war. But of course it does not mean that after the thousand years the kingdom of God will come to an end, only that a different age will begin after that.

I won't get into all the details but eventually all human beings that were ruled over by Jesus and the saints will also enter the kingdom of God. But at the end of the millennium or thousand years, the rest of humanity that have died but never repented, will be resurrected back to their former state and their minds will be open to the truth. They will repent, and accept their destiny and at the end of that period they too will be glorified, and enter God's kingdom. It is at the end of this stage that God will make all things new.....the surface of the Earth will be consumed in intense heat.....so hot that even the elements will melt and the sea will dry up. The surface of the Earth will go through a transformation in preparation glorified human beings that will not need food to live, air to breath or be subjected to the physical laws of nature. Then at some point, the New Jerusalem will come from God out of Heaven to the Earth. The City will be a massive City......it will be 14,000 to 15,000 thousand miles high and as wide as it is high. It will look as if its gold made of glass.......it is there we will live and carry out whatever plans for the universe. The Bible says that the kingdom of God will never stop expanding.....so life on other planets will be created and the saints will be there kings/lords/rulers. The saints will have the ability to be anywhere and anyplace they so chose, and even be in several places at once. We'll have a glorified body that will radiate light and never get old, tired nor needing sleep.......we will be filled with the power and glory of God, always doing something new and exciting better than the one before without end.

This is the gospel that Jesus' parables were hinting at.....this is the message that Jesus commanded His people to proclaim to the world. It is this message that Jesus said when preached to the world then end would come.

I left out certain parts, such as fate of those who after they were offered the truth and rejected it (No one will spend eternity in Hell- there won’t be any Hell when the Earth has been renewed), because that is not part of the gospel. The gospel means good news…..it is not about, you better repent or else you’re going to Hell. Jesus never dominated His message with fear.
