Your question is superfluous, we already have an anthem, (that is assuming you are talking about the Australian national anthem).
A lot of threads here are superfluous, but mine is more unnecessary, irrelevant or inconsequential. SO WHAT?
Hmmm, don't know exactelly. More important to me at this stage in my life is to shift the date, 6 months on, as a compromise for all fair dinkum seakers, regards
"bad ass"??? Are you a yank? if so you don't get a vote on what OUR national anthem should be. If you are an Australian you clearly have image/identity problems.
What are you even talking aboout? I'm a yank because I said "bad ass"? If so then I think it's time to leave your basement.
Stranger things have been said! Culture wars are the games played by simple minds and by those who want to have an edge over someone else, which gives them a strange sense of superiority! I think it all comes with territory for extremists!
"bad ass" is purely American speak. Any Australian who goes around using that phrase has been watching too many yank movies. Why the hell would Waltzing Matilda be a bad donkey??? It doesn't make sense!
Anybody who pulls someone up in Australia for saying the term "bad ass" has lost touch with society and has too much spare time on their hands. Bad ass has been commonly used in Australia for a long time and isn't a strictly American term at all - people all over the world use it.. Honestly, get a life.
We've only had our anthem for 30 years. No one should be that attached to it yet. - - - Updated - - - What's so bad about donkeys?
