What's so wrong with racism anyway?

    It's not a list, it's a copy/paste from an online dictionary.

Oh wait, you weren't actually trying to contribute to a conversation, you just took a random persons post to fire off a potshot. Then again, you may just be trying to demonstrate the difference between stereotypes and racism, some might say I'd be giving you the benefit of the doubt.

There is a runoff election tomorrow in my state between a long time establishment republican and a tea party candidate, McDaniel v Cochran. Cochran is the establishment choice, even he is using the race card against McDaniel. They are illegally attracting democrats, all of whom are black in Mississippi, to vote for Cochran just to eliminate the Tea Party candidate McDaniel.

There are robo calls going out all over the state to african Americans, saying that the Tea Party is racist, they want to put you in chains, any other vile insult they can think of. Racism is a powerful political tool, and the republican Cochran is using it, knowing how successful that tool is for the democrats.

I am sorry, did I fire off a pot shot? Perhaps you need to grow a thicker skin and stop assuming that people are attacking you for no reason but spite.

Not this time, just an irrelevant anecdote.

Politicians will generally say whatever they have to to get elected, the race/class card is but one in their arsenal.

That is why I despise politicians. Surely as a society we can do better than this, but we always seem to be choosing between the lesser of two evils.

I don't despise them, they simply act rationally given the way the system operates. I'd like to think we could do better, but so long as money is allowed to influence elections the way it currently does, we don't stand a chance.

I still thought this thread was about racism being peachy-keen.

Again there's no such thing as Black culture. The Black middle class has increased considerably since the Civil Rights Movement so progress is being made. Your perception of the Black community is far too pessimistic and ignores progress.

I didn't compare Japanese-Americans to Blacks, but to Whites.

    Can you read?

I won't read the mind of the OP, but I am guessing the thought is this: Why is it okay for everyone else to be racist? Conservatives catch flack over racism, when liberals and especially blacks and latinos are racist. Why the double standard?

After all the blood we have spilt here why do we need to be in Africa?

You keep repeating that lie hoping that someone will believe it. White males control and own every industry in this country.

It's ok for anyone to be racist, they just rarely realize that it makes them look idiotic to intelligent people from any and all other demographics.

Anyone with a couple of cells kicking around up top thinks racists are idiots, no idea why you want to play the victim here.

What lie am I repeating? A majority of industrial owners are liberals, it does not matter that they are white, they are spreading the idea that conservatives are evil racists. It comes to the point that there is no reason to try to fix things, because liberals and minorities blame everything on conservatives.

Perhaps if liberals were ever right on the issues, such as global warming, immigration, foreign policy, privacy rights, freedom of speech, the threat of terrorism by muslims, abortion, out of wedlock births, education, property rights, crime, history, agriculture, science, the list goes on and on. Perhaps if liberals were ever right on those issues, I would feel better about the attacks against conservatives based on imaginary false accusations by liberals.

The lie about black folks being more racist than whites in today's society for one.

The point is they are white.

Not all racist are conservatives, but most racists are conservative.

Right, now take out the word liberal and put in conservative and the same could be said.

Your right, but when have conservatives ever been right on the same issues?

Sounds like you need to go and talk to your white liberal friends instead of trying to scapegoat black folks for your racist attitude.

I disagree with you that my attitudes are racist, anymore than the attitudes of black people for instance. I think it is pretty racist for the black community to blame its problems on white people. I know a good bit of history going back far before the US was founded as a nation.

That is where your racist attitude comes into play, only a fool would say that the past has no bearing on the plight of black folks today. Many problems in the BC are self-inflicted, but to come with that racist babble about blaming whites is getting old and tired.

You couldn't tell it by your posts. You are telling His-Story instead of History.

And that's because White people have a superior technical intellect.

Is the trick here that nobody has any idea what you are babbling about?

That's what we keep hearing, kind of like your brain is bigger than everyone else's.

That's what happens when you come in the ass end of a conversation, you usually don't know what you are talking about.
