Where did Trumpism come from?

Trump was quite successful at first and this has enabled him to be very unsuccessful in the ensuing years. This is not an unusual pattern with those who are fortunate enough to fall into success early, they make their "pile" in their youth and spend the rest of their lives losing it.

 

How dictators seize power is well-known and there have been several books written on it. I have always been surprised at how they are left off most required reading lists

 

That explains what is being taught in the Universities and why Conservatives are not allowed to present a counter-point of view. So if higher education had Liberal Professors they would be open to free speech and be willing to listen to legitimate thoughts and arguments?

 

It does and they do. It’s just that Conservatives have such ancient , archaic points of view they simply don’t spend much time on them.

 

As opposed to those new Antifa burn-it-all-down modern ideas? How's life in a burned-out building? How many right-wing groups have killed people in demonstrations, compared to BLM or Antifa? Who's more dangerous to life, limb and property --- a screaming-meemie hair-on-fire liberal...or someone responsible and voting for the SENTIENT adult and not the senile one.

 

How many people have the KKK killed ? You pick the time frame, last year, a decade, two decades. The left has a ways to go before they even come close to the body count put up by your fanatical right wingers.

 

Could that be because they shout them down or get in their face and intimidate them. They have even been so brave to get a gang of them to do bodily harm.

 

I too have read a fair bit on it. Reading and watching it live are two completely different things.

That is very true, and the "perspective" given us by studying history makes us think people "back then" were all starving and miserable, whereas their lives were pretty much indistinguishable from ours.

No denying that. There are bad characters on both sides. I haven't really seen protestors attack people eating at a restaurant or go into residential neighborhoods and do wholesale intimidation of citizens who have nothing to do with either side. Burning down buildings, looting business and law enforcement does not endure the average person to their cause. I have pictures from the riots of '68 in Detroit and still show you whole areas of the city that have never recovered. It isn't a a couple night thing. Expect a large percentage of those cities that rioting has happened to find business not to return, decent citizens finding safer places to live and raise their children, more regular crime and murder. The cities money base will leave which means poorer schools, healthcare, city services and a deterioration of lifestyle.

President Trump is at least pro-Israel which makes him very pro-America in terms of foreign policy.

CNN will never give him any credit whatsoever for this rather obvious fact and you may wish to wonder as to why that is?
