The propaganda campaign against the combined combination of white/conservative/gun-owner continues.

They are convinced that the government is out to seize their weapons, even though most legislation is focused on keeping guns out of the hands of criminals or restricting the types of weapons that can be sold.

Why would anyone need more than a single shot soft BB gun to protect their family.?

1911 type hand guns and AR type personal protection weapons, as the government calls them when they buy them, are much more useful for self-defense than deer rifles, long barrel shotguns and revolvers.

I will keep my self-defense guns and go to jail until the SC lets me out.

BTW, I feel like this story was written by LeftySergeant. Surprised there was no referance to the RoHoWa, and worries the KKK will rise up again.

Why do you think they have such an attachment to guns? And why does a certain group of those in power feel the need to take away these guns?
I think you will find your answer there.

The greater danger would be if the government ever decided to try to take away those guns. I would much rather have rampant terrorists running loose any day, than risk having a tyrannical government controlling every aspect of my daily life, and be denied the right to vote in free and fair elections.
