Only showing that this administration is staffed with either incompetents and those ignorant of not just our American customs but the laws or those so obsessed with promoting and encouraging homosexuality and deviant lifestyles they are willing to put that above the countey. The American flag is ALWAYS the highest point and in the center of any display. Yet here at the White House let's be gay event they subordinated our flag to one promoting homosexuality and deviancy.

U.S. Flag Code §7. (e), which reads, "The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs."

So far no comment from the White House.

Why is our White House/Executive Branch even engage in such promotion?

If we are going to modify the U.S. Flag Code, I would recommend adding a section making it against the code to hump the flag..

We all know who matters to the Democrats in this country. The LBGQT+++ community is #1 for Democrats. Advancing the LBGQT+++ agenda is more important than checking the spread of Communist Chinese influence in our hemisphere.

Our tax dollars were spent on this celebration. When is the White House going to celebrate heterosexuals and families? Never.

We should really be glad this has come to light. It shows where the Biden administration’s priorities are.

So much for all that "patriotism" they've been spouting for the past couple years.

It's not a big deal. There isn't any real reason why it matters.

We should move past the Neanderthal concepts like flags mattering.

Yes, it's far more trendy to be "a citizen of the world" than a citizen of a country that might get your butt out of a sling like it was for that lady basketball player, Griner, when the Russians arrested her. I am sure that a "citizen of the world" would have been released much sooner ...

Americans have died for that flag. Your total hate of America is showing... and very disturbing.

No one has ever died for a flag.

When I served, i was serving for people's right to burn that flag. The right to respect a flag doesn't need defending. Even North Koreans respect their flag.

Some on or about January 6th...

I don't see anything he posted, or the WH display, showing a "total hate for America".

Sounds a little projective to me...

If you don't think anyone has died for a flag, you know NOTHING about the US military... NOTHING. And those soldiers get angry at the very thought that American citizens could ever be disrespectful to it.

You served in the North Korean Army?

No one has died for a flag.

I know soldiers who get mad about it, and i know soldiers who knew that what they were defending was the right to disrespect the flag.

People who get mad about symbols, are usually not the smartest. Even the soldiers who get mad about the flag disrespecting, were defending the right to disrespect it, whether they knew it or not.

I don't think I've ever seen a Trump event that didn't blatantly involve people violating the US flag code, even wearing the flag as capes and the like. Hell, I think the Trumps have been selling Bibles that have an altered flag on it the cover. And doesn't the "thin blue line" flag violate the flag code?

I'm a bit baffled that you even included this in your post. The pride flag is neither a state, locality, or pennant flag, nor are the flags in the picture you included being displayed on any staffs

    The Star-Spangled Banner

O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight
O’er the ramparts we watch’d were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there,
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
