Strange, I know, but it's true. You may ask, "Hey, Yoozer, how did you end up conservative?" It was that damn pesky U.S.Constitution. As badly as I might have wanted my heart to bleed uncontrollably, I simply couldn't justify it within the parameters of our founding documents. I am convinced that the typical liberal has never read the U.S.Constitution and the ones that have choose to ignore it or commit themselves fully to usurping it. I admire fellow conservatives, but I'm not here to make friends, be liked or waste my time agreeing with or being agreed with. I like debate. And, I gain immense satisfaction in researching and basing my arguments on facts... not emotion, not conscience, not the historical circumvention of our original principles or the values that this nation was built upon. Not the yeah-buts or the what-ifs. The U.S.Constitution is precisely what it says it is. It is not a living, breathing, evolving entity. It is not elastic. It is not an ephemeral suggestive guideline. If I am mistaken, I will own up to it. But if you are mistaken, I will call you on it. Let's have fun!
I am an oil painter. After 50 years of doing almost every medium that is what it has sifted down to. I got my first set of oils in 1966.
I'm a good bit younger. And am still experimenting. I love oils but don't have as much experience with them.
CJG: Please read "The Painter's Secret Geometry - A Study of Composition in Art" by Charles Bouleau, and "The Secret of the Old Masters" by Albert Abenschein, and google https://math.temple.edu/-reich/Fib/fibo.html. They don't teach these things in any college or art school curriculum and it took me (I'm embarrassed to say) decades to discover. Whether you ever use the information or not, the knowledge of it is priceless.
